Delia - The Lady of Flame

I just don't see "better" from what you drew there. Here's the original.
Only advise I can think of off the top of my head is two things:
1. Use a ruler when you draw. For symmetry stuff, it would help make her stand up more straight. Make her face line up with her body better...ect. One tactic I was advised to use sometimes, is to turn the paper over and look at the image inverted. Doing that sometimes will help see some types of obvious flaws.
2. Study the human body more closely. It doesn't really start being a real problem until the head is too small, or the waist is too big, or the arms are misshapen. You don't seem to have a huge problem here, but I can see it.

When I used to draw alot (ages ago) those two things really helped my images of people come out better. I'd also look more closely at how fabric falls on the body.

Thanks, I'm still studying Human Anatomy, so I hope these two things really come in handy.
I don't think I've seen that image of Delia before, and it scares me that my Delia is positioned almost exactly like that one. It's just freaky.
