EVERYTHING is done, both visually and for writing. Now to wait for the opening of the submission period for the new tourney and I'm first to submit.

Symbolism in the character's outfit will communicate everything you need to know along with the concise, to-the-point bio.

I like to rely on symbolism and suggestion too, but it seems like some people have a hard time with or simply dislike reading between the lines. But while I think that spelling it out plainly isn't necessary, others (from my experience) won't pick up on or are unwilling to make inferences. I don't really know why I'm saying this though. Just the ramblings of a bored man, I suppose.

Seems like with the delay everyone has moved on and is ready for the next already, heh.... Our previous character's corpses aren't even cold yet.

Finally finished my character for the next tournament, his name is Chaos and he's from Outworld. Won't give to many details about him. Don't want to spoil anything.

On topic, I can't wait to see your new characters, I still don't have a clue for mine, but there is an interesting concept revolving in my head.

I decided to have my next character be more true to the MK lore, but his story is one I think has the potential to bring about a lot of discussion. Hopefully it's good discussion. lol

The only thing that may change between now and submission time is subtle nuances in the additional info (part of the explanation of fighting abilities) that goes along with the bio. There also may or may not be an alternate costume made in that time -- if not, I may have to come up with one and provide a written description of such. My question is whether I keep it contemporary or go for a somewhat radical outfit based on the character's original placement and series basis. If it's the latter, then I KNOW the reaction is going to be a loud "WTF?" and you'll start to laugh hard.

WTFs can bring about great reception.

Never be afraid to go against the grain. I did with my Persephone, and it worked out quite well.

The problem is if I'm going to get someone to do that WTF-ish outfit. If it comes about, then you guys are probably NOT going to take him seriously anymore. Especially because it will look like he's pulling the things he uses in battle from uncomfortable places unless I use a specific set of holsters and such. :|

...Am I hearing "Fly Away"? NO NO NO, I need uplifting trance for this guy to do this to because he's Earth-bound and not an angel from Heaven!

I say use that to your advantage.

A character who pulls out weapons of unusual places will obviously have amazing movements and reflexes. That character would therefore be able to dodge attacks while striking simultaneously.

From what you've told me, it seems like you may be on your way to making a very fun and unique character.

Honestly, I'm not even going to front. I will be re-entering Blight into the contest with some new tweaks and such.

Still no word on my prizes, I feel like last year's competition all over again :D

Although KAK7 had its ups and downs, I am still looking forward to KAK8. I just hope that a winner is chosen within the first month of voting this time. Stay tuned for the last teaser of my new sub-boss character .
