This is why I don't pay any attention to the prizes awarded in the tournaments.

There's too many hangups and problems that go along with it, and it's not worth the devotion. I'd rather just enjoy being in the tourneys and checking out other people's characters.

To say, the only prize I ever actually cared about was having my character immortalized in art by JAX007.

Me too, as I said JAX007 has been the reason why I started drawing and I was so pumped when I heard he is going to draw Ekimaru..

Still seriously psyched about about KAKVIII, though I know it's not likely to come any time soon.

Still, I'm just itching to share my character with everyone, but I'm holding out for as long as possible. The wait is driving me bonkers. lol

I'm faced with the exact same problem I had last time in regards to doing another KAK..... I was hyped DURING the contest and worked on a great entry while it was going on... But now that it's over and I've spent time away from my design, I no longer like it and will probably make a new one at the last minute. I would love to have a Kreate-an-entire-roster tournament.... Or maybe just Kreate-Several-Kharacters..... Hehehe.....

I tend to make multiples of characters, as it makes it easier for me to make a selection, especially when I'm having a creative block.

It would be nice if we could enter more than one character, that would be sweet.

Ready to submit when it all comes together. The WTF outfit ONLY exists as a text description as an unlock-able third outfit.

Primary Outfit: Normal fighting look
Secondary Outfit: School uniform
Tertiary Unlock-able Outfit: WTF = Male semi-adult dancer outfit, worn only when fighting alongside the Anarchy Sisters

That last one is your only hint on what to generally expect from looks.

It appears that MKO KAKVIII will not happen until 2014. I am still waiting to submit my character. Hopefully the contest is held toward the beginning of next year.

If there's anyone in this thread that I would like to see appear for real in the next game, it should be Onyx & Erebus!

Plz can u start the next MK Kreate a Kharacter tournament including only the previous winners. Then the winning character may become a new character in MKX or even make it as DLC, maybe even more than one kharacter. I think this should be done sooner rather than later. This KAK was #7, 7 is god's perfect number and 6 is the devils number. This is why I guess there is 7 deadly sins and 7 heavenly virtues. And why there is 7 wonders of the world.

So are we going to get KAK8 started or what?

Outstanding. I'm really glad to see how far the tournament has progressed since the beginning[although lack of character specifics]. Great work guys. It would be nothing without you all. I'm happy to see that quite possibly one of your characters may actually make an appearance in a MK game.

Keep up the Kreativity and hard work.

Also impressed to see that it's not about the prizes. It's about enjoying creating characters with your minds so that we can make life better for others as well for ourselves in the MK Universe. Not all of us have creative minds. So some of us dwell on you to create for others to enjoy. Just keep that in mind. ; )

It would be great if Mick-Lucifer and the other judges helped pitch the KAK Kontest's winning and/or runner-up characters to Nether Realm Studios for inclusion in MKX, especially last kontest's Ekimaru and Eastwind. I still would like to see how my new character fares if another Kontest occurs, though.

I'm not sure if anyone is still paying attention to this thread or not but I'm trying to get people to show support for a new Kreate a Kharacter tournament and I figured I'd try and round up some people who took part in the last KaK contest (kontest?). With NRS making new characters for once for MKX it should be interesting to see what we as a community can come up with. We can essentially compete with the creators of Mortal Kombat and that seems like an awesome challenge to me.

My character has been waiting since January 2013 (when the previous kontest began) and I have never given up hope for the KAKVIII Kontest. The character is an Oni with a tremendous amount of bloodlust than Moloch and Drahmin. I am pretty sure people will like the originality of the character, who I will not further reveal until the next contest. I do not care about the prizes; The thrill and support from competing is what matters to me.
