Mr. Mute is taken aback by what he hears the god say.His trick discovered,he has to be craftier.

(I just read Jo Jo's bizarre adventure,a villain uses that trick.It is actually the reason I make Ekibyogami try to outsmart his opponents.)

Seeing the reaction from Mr.Mute Ekibyogami knows he has guessed right.

"He is going to be hard to hit,but if we get a good one he is going down"

Mr. Mute sits in the chair wondering why Malice has not taken advantage of the opponents yet.

"Something tells me your partner left you high and dry." Marek's next firestorm destroys several mirrors.

Serenity throws her ring blade at the Mr. Mute sitting on Shang's chair. "Catch"

Mr. Mute catches the blade,using his fingertips to stop it before it cut him. He couldn't help but think she threw it faster the last time they met. The god was right,he had only average durability,but he did have speed. The shadow priest was right though, he had been left alone. He could stall for time, and felt pretty comfortable in his ability to fight one,but he new he could not take two,and three was suicide. He summoned a door,giving a tip of that hat gesture to Serenity,and left.

"Huh. It seems that that one was the real one. I should of thrown it harder." Looking at Marek and Ekibyogami she says " It appears that our Mr. Mute has teamed up with someone. Who would team up with him?"

"The only major enemy we have faced that is bipolar enough to turn on him?"

The mysterious figure has just left. Okorik leaves his tent and chases after the figure into the dense jungle until at last, the figure disappears. "Blast, they got away." said Okorik. He was just about to leave when he noticed what appeared to be a shadow priest. "What would a shadow priest be doing here? Perhaps I should follow him," said Okorik, following the priest to his location.

"Indeed, it must have been Malice. That wicked witch is proving to be most troublesome to us." Marek takes Serenity's hand and kisses it again. "You fought excellently, Lady Serenity."

"Haha thank you Marek but i don't believe it was much of a fight. I believe Malice knows my plans for Raiden Ekibyogami. I don't know how but she entered my mind for a brief moment before it overpowered her."

"We do not know that yet,but i believe both are targeting you for some reason Serenity. We must keep an eye out for them. From now on Serenity it would be best if you do not go anywhere without at least one of us,at least until we have dealt with their threats."

Marek touches Serenity's shoulder gently. "I shall keep watch over Lady Serenity."

*meanwhile at the actual MK tournament


Karundi: this tournament is lame, no ones even challenging me
Kazol: maybe you don't look intimidating enough to be challenged?
Karundi: fuck off you ghost-bastard.

Malice seems at first unconcerned with the battle as she seems to be arguing with herself, but as her enemies know this isn't a good sign!
One again her tortured mind persona has broken once more.
"MMMMUUUAAAAHHAAAHHHHAAAAAAAA"
Malice looks completely deranged, her gaze fixed on Serenity
"I WILL TASTE YOUR BLOOD" Malice continues to laugh insanly, Her back lances spreading out further
Malice begins to sing in a most creepy fashion
"Little Miss Muffet sat on her tuffet EATING her curds and way,
when down came a spider and SAT down beside her,
AND GORGED ON HER FLESH FOR THE REST OF THE DAY"
With her desturbing song finished Malice leaps out of site.

"What is this? A Shadow Priest fraternizing with a supporter of Earthrealm? How could this be," thought Okorik to himself as he saw the Priest kiss the woman's hand. As soon as an opening was found, Okorik steathfully followed the woman, blade in hand. "I can't let Earthrealm win for Shinnok's will demands it. Maybe following her will lead to more information on what is going on with the priest and the one called Malice."

Krimson continued walking after her tournament matches. With each step, she got closer and closer to hearing the sounds of battle. Drawn to this she hurried to the scene and saw a psychotic woman fighting a few people.

Krimson his in the shadows, watching the battle unfold...

After the fight a note appears for malice:

Where were you?
Mr. Mute

"Yes, Lord Ekibyogami. And thank you Marek for volunteering. what shall we do now?"
Unbeknownst to them a warrior is in hiding watching them..

Perhaps she didn't see him coming, perhaps he didn't wanted her to see him. Either way, Krimson was surprised when a man dressed in black whispered to her ear:

"There is no point in hiding if they know you are there"

(Just wanted to add that De Kai's and De Kio's participation will be something like a "what if they had come to the first tournament", because they didnt :P)

Krimson quicked faced her stalker. 'Who are you? What are you doing here?''

The man in black says gently, perhaps even in a seductive way "wow... I didnt mean to upset you" and quickly adds "i'm sorry if i did that.... The name is De Kiô and i'm not here to fight, but to see the outcome of this tournament. There is much at stake here." He looks her at the eyes and says "May i ask you the same questions?"
