I love the way you managed to give her a tight green and striped tanktop like in the earlier games, but make it look like it could actually be part of a uniform and not gymnast or aerobics workout tights.
Your design is nothing short of inspiring. She looks simplistic, but refined and multilayered, all simultaneously. The color palette is great and I think would fit in very well with the atmosphere of the new MK. She looks sexy, but battle-ready, and you reached that middle point quite nicely.
My favorite aspects are the leather/latex-like pants, the top, and the hat. I think her arms could use a little more accessories. Love the make-up and nails, you'd think it would completely stand out and not fit this look, but you melded it into your palette flawlessly, adding to the feminism underlying in the business-like style of her outfit. I think I would give the boots pointed heels ala her MKDA+ alt., but that's just a personal preference. If they go with something just like this for the new game, I'll be a happy panda. It would not only be an excellent redesign for Sonya, but it would make the creation of a contrasting alternate that much easier (no hat, midriff showing, etc.)
Thanks so much for this!

again, you have delivered. best rendition i have ever seen ever ever. totally in love with entire concept - from hat to boots. the top alone is genius. you have the utmost respect from me and my god, i hope that you are making a living off of your talents because you are FAR too amazing not to be.
w.b. or some company - you could even be a damn fashion designer - needs to hire you a.s.a.p. i admire your creativity and your ability to think outside the box and SUCCESSFULLY somehow put it all down on paper. you are incredible.

I like it, but I'm a little confused by her top. It looks like she's wearing a green and white thong leotard. Toward her waist, it looks as if the black part is some sort of vest underneath the green part. However, on her shoulders, it looks as if the black part is actually part of the piece entirely.

Its a Tank top with colored sections, like her MK3 suit.

Awesome, one of the best Sonya's Ive seen (If not the best). I like the top and how it kinda pays homage to the MK3era look.
I really love your drawing style Jax. Wish I had a fraction of your drawing ability.

This is cool, but I think it plays too much into the fantasy element of the character. I'd like to see something that definitely keeps this design in mind (the design on her shirt, for example), but a bit more GI Jane// Sara O'Connor in Terminator....
a little more mm... practical? Maybe?

Absolutely beautiful!
I would only add a bit more futuristic elements to her arms/hands but that's it. This truly is an amazing fan art and one of the best I've seen for my favorite character of MK.
