While it's certainly possible the daggers are the same, they are not drawn the same at all. I'll be disappointed if there's no reason for the difference in their physical appearance and it's just lazy artistry. I doubt it though, in general the quality seems high and the makers seem to care about the details.

im not really feeling that, we kinda have that with Scorpion already, so I hope the other ones are real Ninja guys and not guys who get their powers from something or someone else.

He's right, though. Raiden is very much a joke at this point. He's doing a terrific job as protector of Earthrealm if it took him ten+ whole years to notice that Earth's cosmic barriers were down and then to fix them. Now that I looked at the picture of older ninja fox, he even has the spear which is reminiscent of old school UMK3 Smoke..AND his eyes are completely white.

Plus in Smoke's story it is said that he was burned to a crisp..then he transformed into his demon form and then he went back to normal, this would in terms explain why Fox has his whole face undamaged underneath that mask of his.
Also the emblem on his chest with the golden scorpion is a dead giveaway that he is indeed a scorpion disciple and probably that Hanzo is going to forgive him for what he did.

Side-note this MK is shaping up to be WAY better than Deception, and MKD was definitively my favorite MK story line ever written..

Except the skin is a lot paler than Fox's, and come on--the original filename when that was concept art was revealed was even just "shirairyu." There's little reason to think he's lying, especially given Fox's new makeover.

Don't bother. The first issue was put up on the U.S DC Comixology with the 12+ rating, which was a mistake on their part. The rating is now 17+ and won't be for sale on the app. You have to purchase it on the website via credit card, amazon or pay pal.

thats really stupid considering you can basically get even the most brutal Punisher issues on Comixology with no problem at all and some of these make even the MK issues we got so far look like a cute kitten.
