IGN have the first look at cover artwork for Mortal Kombat X #6. The DC Comics print issue will be released in May, with digital chapter projections beginning at 16.

After last issue’s shocking conclusion, Sub-Zero reflects on the path that brought him face-to-face with Scorpion. Meanwhile, Reptile, Kotal Kahn and D’Vorah must stand their ground against the onslaught of King Gorbak and his Shokan army! The game will be available April 14, 2015.

The issue reportedly builds off a showdown between klassic mascot rivals Scorpion & Sub-Zero - while also continuing the Outworld war between Kotal Kahn and his merry band of misfits, and Mileena's army of Shokan allies! Team Kotal consists of D'Vorah, Reptile & Ferra/Torr -- all apparent survivors of conquered realms. No signs of the mysterious Erron Black.

The influence of King Gorbak -- father of Goro -- doesn't sound like good news for the prince, either, but fret not! As trailers for the pre-order bonus character have told us - Goro Lives! The comic provides backstory for the video game, coming April 14th [read more].
