Mainly for the fight scenes, which do you think would be better music to make the movie better.

The music should depend on who is fighting. If it's like a tough brawl, metal. If it is a cat fight or something, techno.

Techno has been overpowering the metal elements in MK movies no question. I'd love to see (or hear as the case may be) a metal version of the MK theme. Get perhaps Rob Zombie to do it or maybe Fear Factory. I'd also like to see more metal bands on the soundtrack and if there were to be any techno it should be within a metal song.
A few of the bands I'd love to see on the soundtrack:
Marilyn Manson
Rob Zombie
Fear Factory
KMFDM (it's not an MK soundtrack without them)
Adema
Slipknot
Disturbed
but mostly Rob Zombie. He can do some awesome things to his metal tracks.

For a martial arts film, definitely techno becuase it hasa true rythm. Like the fighting i like dancing, you can't really dance to heavy rok. Plus I can't stand rock.

I agree with jediraiden22 & ReptileHumpedU you just have to have either Techno/Trance tracks only in this movie because the beats are just way better than heavy rock/metal.

Techno/Trance tracks are just too good for fight scenes especially for a movie like this. Rock and metal are just people screaming their asses off with no meaning. (IMO)

Can't beat Trance/Techno! wowwowwow

well in MKA we did find out how bad techno can be for a movie, it seemed as though they found excuses to put it on. The first movie was good because it used music only when it had to, and the song choice was good because it wasn't only techno but also dramatic music with a hint of metal. Lets hope they choose more wisely this time.
Anyone disagree?

I guess I thought the techno music brought a lot of the tension for A. Without it I think the movie would have been worse. lol

I'de have to say that MKA is what got me into techno and yeah like that kid said techno matches fight scenes and you cant really dance to it. But i think if they had important fights they should use rock to emphasize how awsomley kick ass the fight should be!!!

omg...ok, alright..EVEN THOUGH MK's history with music has mainly been in the techno genre.. WHAT in the world does techno have to do with fighting..absolutely NOTHING..it's dance music...you dont dance during a fight unless you want yer ass handed to you on a nice, blood covered silver platter.Metal has my vote, metal unleashes all of your anger, which if directed to a certain someone( i got too many of them to list) that raw energy metal lets out lets you really experience the fight with a much more powerful intensity...you want techno...go to your local rave...but leave it at the movie theatre doors...AND imo ,some metal/rock artists that should do some of the music should be : Rob Zombie( even though he's moved onto directing, we'll miss you) OTEP, Slipknot, Disturbed, Korn, Marilyn Manson, Ill Nino,Static-x (maybe just for those who want a bit a techno with thier rock) Spineshank,Adema( they did MK:DA justice ) Damageplan, NIN...and that's all i can think of at the moment. Now...dont get me wrong..i love techno as well...but just like everything else..it's best listened to at certain moments...it's just that fighting is not one of them..

Disagreed. There is good rock and metal, with good lyrics, but sometimes there's just...ridiculous lyrics in heavy metal, with nothing but screaming and teenage rebel whining (hint hint, slipknot).

Rock here and there is good, but they need to keep their techno thing going. as stated above somewhere... Techno is "dance music" BECAUSE it is energetic music. WHen you hear a good kick ass techno song, you can feel the energy, thus making the fights more intense and way cooler then they would be with anything else.

I want, Metal and asian songs for the fights, (picture Croutching Tiger Hidden Dragon for asian songs.)

I would like a whole variety of different music, not only techno or metal, but serious orchestrated songs for the importang and epic battles.

agreed, variety is always good... as long as techno takes a big part of it, I'm good. Like the Matrix revolutions soundtrack -yes the movie sucked, but did you happen to catch the fabulous music?!

Techno, it fits the movies fight scenes, metal doesn't seem right imo. The music matches the fights well and I feel it enhances the intensity while u watch. Not that metal wouldn't, but for a skillful fighting movie, it fits better. Metal would be better suited to a street fight/UFC kind of fight - just total brutality. So for MK3 I hope they continue with the electronica theme. Plus I still like the intro themes for MK1 and MKA...
