Well... fuck. Looks like practically all the fighters... who appear... are known. I was hoping this wouldn't have been leaked for a while but it is what it is. Because the last spoiler became a news item.... all of these characters appear in the 11/18 draft.

Some of my previous hints:

Look to la Luna meant Reptile.

Goro is described as an angry version of The Hulk, that was the Marvel character mentioned in the script.

Nitara's konfirmation puts us closer to the end of how the film will play out.

Elissa, who plays Nitara, shared a photo from a fellow stuntwoman who is training at the same place some of the cast have. Not saying Tara Macken is in the movie but not saying she's not.

I want to add I am disappointed with the recent rash of leaks. These could have easily been contained a lot better. I'm not sure if Ludi knew what he was doing or was asked to to see if fans picked up on it. But this last leak is 100% the fault of the producers and let me explain:

Inside film production offices, which are usually housed near the set (ours was in a hotel conference room for one movie and inside the school's production office for another), there is usually a board with the stage names of the cast and their photos, often literally printed right off an IMDB page (ghetto, I know). These are made as a way for some of us, who have to interact with the cast, to know who we are looking for and essentially, know who is allowed to be on set of they don't appear to be working. On one of the film's I worked on, my job was transporting cast and crew from the office and to the set or airport and vice-versa. We also had a board with their names - when they were no longer on set, they were erased (it was a marker board).

This could have been prevented. What you see above appear to be character designs directly from the games (I cannot make out which games but I am guessing MK9-MK11, if they even appeared in those) NOT the cast photos. Had the cast photos been there, we'd known who to expect from a cast perspective and still keep all of us guessing who they'd play. Instead we got, straight, pretty much the rest of the characters yet to be announced and production isn't even over yet.

Now that pretty much all of the characters are known, do you expect fan outlash, fans to be welcoming, fans to be open-minded, and if fans do retaliate negatively, do you think the film will be recast and reshot?

Are you happy that we know a lot more now before production ended than we were offered before production began? I mean, it's been a miracle the secrecy has been well contained but the leaked photo and source tell me it was some piece of shit extra who thought he'd make a couple friends and garner attention with these leaks, when in actually he just signed his name on the Hollywood / Australia blacklist. Compare these leaks to those of the games, which seems to be within the first week of the game's launch of not the first day (although thanks to leakers I think we even seen some of those leaks happen 2 years before MK11 was released).

Moving forward, I am not going to provide detailed information the 11/18 draft noted about each character unless that information is leaked but some of you may be posing these questions... and I totally am not answering them and yes I know some are purely speculative:

1. Is Shao Kahn in the film? In person, reference, etc.?
2. Are there any other members from other factions, aka Special Forces, Lin Kuei, Black Dragon, etc who make cameos, are referenced, etc.?
3. Are there two Sub-Zeros? If not, is it Bi-Han or the other one?
4. Will we see Scorpion's harpoon weapon?
5. Exactly what kind of fatalities are in this movie and how game-accurate are they?
6. Does Noob Saibot appear in this film in any way?
7. Does Nitara fly?
8. Are some of the game's taunts/character fight intros in this movie? :wink :wink
9. How much of a character's backstory is revealed and do we know enough about the character from the movie or are we to assume the games (and perhaps maybe a future animation/comic series) does that for us?
10. Who is Lewis Tan playing? Is it the new rumored character? Or are fans going to get their "divided wish" and it's Johnny Cage?
11. Why is there an MMA fight scene in this film? Does that elude to the Black Dragon fight club or perhaps hints at Cassie Cage making an appearance?
12. What does the animated falling snow mean from Joe Taslim's story posts?
13. What role does a plane play in this film?
14. Why did we see a tractor? Who does that represent?
15. What kinds of special moves can we expect to see and what kinds of special powers do each character possess?
16. What kinds of things does this film add to the lore?
17. Will the females be scantily clad? (Hint: This movie could work in either direction, sorry boys, there is no "Sonya shower scene" written like there was in the first script of 1995 film)?
18. What do the costumes look like? How game-accurate are they (hopefully better than Legacy and not paintball masks >:( )
19. Does Kitana appear in this film or is she referenced?
20. Will we see any other realm in the film or mentioned/referenced?

Tara Macken is in the movie as a double of a previously announced fighter

for the fan question i don't how mk fan will react becuase i dont think anybody know the leak but as for a backlash though i dont think it will reshoot or recast and if they gave into they might cannceld this flim and get rid of eveybody even the witeer who hard so hard to make this happen because mk fans are toxic

For fans interested, Tara Macken played a role in the all-female fight film, Raze, which also had Amy Johnston in it as well. Amy Johnston is another famous female stuntgirl I was hoping would be attached to this film in some way (as a stunt double for Sonya, which makes perfect sense). Amy & Tara are friends so let's hope.

Tara also played a tribute in the first Hunger Games.

Week 9:

As Week 9 comes to a klosure... the Internet is all crazy about Mehcad Brook's etched, shaped body. He explains on Instagram what he's done and Greg Russo even shouts-out to him, saying they're just getting started.

Chin Han posts a photo of his trailer with a white, sandy landscape behind it. Fans are speculating Outworld. My question is... are there two sets of cast/crew in different locations, aka "units," because that does happen for often smaller parts... and there are a bunch of small parts and many of these parts are broken into two groups and each group predominantly has its own set of cast members.

Tara Macken has posted to her Instagram at least one training video 6 weeks ago.

Has anyone been following and archiving Tara Macken's stories? It would appear Ella's post of her (above) was either her story or a deleted photo? If anyone has followed Tara and can explain what we missed that'll be great but I'm guessing more training videos/photos! lol

Folks, again, this article is 100% speculative and takes Greg Russo completely out of context. Greg never said Johnny was in this movie, just that he had big plans for him.

As we prepare for Week 10, an interesting thing Max Huang done was to show us the trailers, all together in a pan motion, for Liu Kang, Sub-Zero, Lord Raiden, and Kung Lao. Notice earlier we were shown Shang's trailer? His was in a different location from these four, so I'm suggesting they are now divided up by units as we get closer to wrap!
