Posting legacy is different to spam emails and that where you can link the feed of those videos you are talking about to the masses..
I think most of those videos would fail to get such numbers.. PLUS this is a webseries.. for a webseries, this is amazing numbers
HUGE different between "watch what this idiot did" to "watch this new Mortal Kombat episode".. the latter will only get a specific audience.
and rebirth had great numbers, but a lot of repeat viewers too

True enough, this episode is doing quite well now (and why shouldn't it, being about Scorpion/Sub and being quite good...it's some of the ones before this that I mainly meant when I said the series was under-performing...remember, Rebirth hit three million in like three days. Kitana/Mileena have been out two and three weeks and are still under that. If you were expecting every webisode to do what the concept trailer did in views, you would be a little bit disappointed with the outcome so far.)
But my point is mainly that "one of the most watched videos on Youtube" is a very silly claim when you consider that saying that means you're comparing a video that's only days old to things that have been memes for years.
The Rickroll? That's one of the most watched videos on Youtube. That "Leave Britney alone" girl? That's one of the most watched videos on Youtube. The Chocolate Rain dude? Likewise.
This is popular, no doubt. But it's not that popular. Just bein' real.

I think I've only seen Rickroll out of those 3. And I actually like that song.
Still, I don't think I want to see those other ones.

Well the thing about most of the stuff that goes viral and becomes crazy-popular on Youtube is almost none of it's actually any good. Like I said, it's often just teenagers who did something extremely embarrassing while vlogging.
But somehow this terrible shit gets into the double and triple fuckin' digits in millions of hits.

Until the next paradigm shift in the overall focus of interest of humanity in the media. True, dumb shit sells like gold, but there are curves and valleys to how serious the overall population is. Currently we are down.
ON a happier note, Encyclopedia Dramatica has transformed into Oh Internet, which is alot more intelligent, and has no shock for shock's sake stuff.
And another, the 2. Mileena/Kitana episode passed the million.

Woof, thank Raiden I'm incapable of vlogging.

That's funny, Encyclopedia Dramatica seems to be right where it always was.

I'm going to have to disagree. Oh Internet isn't funny at all, whereas the Encyclopedia Dramatica makes me laugh a couple of times. I will admit that I have a hard time telling if an article was written by an idiot or a troll, like the One Piece article for example explaining the FUNimation version. There are times where it has dark humor.
