As many of you know, I wasn't overly impressed with the Jessica McNamee casting of Sonya Blade. But now, based on the November 2018 draft, I can say I understand it.

The draft's character descriptions often have a few descriptive words following a comparison to an A-lister actor or actress. This is actually common in the industry, just not usually in the script (it's actually one of many of Russo's amateur moves I spotted but I see why he was doing it). These descriptions are often presented when a character is introduced. In this case, they were presented inside parenthesis. I'm not going to list the A-lister's name, only initials, but she is a fellow blonde action A-lister who resembles Jessica. Are you ready... "(30s)," ... "(think a jacked CZ)"

what are you thoughts on treating shao khan like thanos if this movie becomes successful and it spawns a series like i would like see a edenia movie that explores the Edenian like a wonder woman movie

With the failure and constant rebooting of the DCU, the story of Mortal Kombat deserves the Marvel Cinematic Universe treatment. Warner Bros. has no choice really. So why just stop with Edenia and not explore other realms, like Chaosrealm?

Let's make Mortal Kombat into 30 or so films, animated specials, and Tv or Netflix series!

Where are you getting Beijing? If 700 extras were used to watch an "MMA fight" then I know in the script where that happens, it just wasn't MMA. But it still tells me they are filming close to script order as much as possible while they are at each location.

Yeah there should be 800 more extras roles but I have no clue where else they're gonna fit them in. Honestly I think they're just using 1,500 to meet the minimum they need for their tax breaks and free $6-7k they got grom the Aussie government, else they have to pay that back.

So I'm guessing they're have all these roles and not that many will be seen. But 800 could easily fit for an MMA fight.

Looking at comments elsewhere throughout social mediaand considering previous leaked lists ... I fear we know everything there is to know about the characters... just less of them. Some people will think this is a new Raiden. It is not. It is the same doomsday Raiden from the first movie. Just alot more pronounced, expanded. Almost, in one way or another, 10/11 tourney games are represented in some way, even if just slightly touched upon. Rule out: DC.

People keep clamoring this film is one big

battle royale. Ok, so there are ambushes like we ween in TJB and that one scene in the first movie... as for films, there is nothing remotely like Battle Royale/Hunger Games. There's a slight touch of 300 with Kickboxer 4 with Tatum's Fighting with Mortal Kombat. There may be a bit of these random clashes but it's not one whole battle royal. It's many different things packed into one movie. Remember... video games like Double Dragon and Final Fury and even NES' TMNT existed before we knew the term "battle royal".

Why thank you. Yes the site is overloaded with content. More than any other MK site in terms of what it offers. People have to dig deep and scale each page top to bottom to find the good stuff.

I need to polish it and clarify it so it'd be a better source for facts than just a lot thrown together.

Hey it may be old school in design, but the content's what matters and the wealth of it there is amazing. It's a classic old website of the kind I miss; when fan-sites both existed readily (everything seems to be a horrible blog nowadays and the navigation is HORRIBLE) but also were FULL of rare and unique content. Be proud of it and please keep it online for many more years to come :)

We don’t know but according to greg he said this Forget the fact that I work on this. If I just stumbled in as a lifelong fan, my jaw would perm be on the floor. What I’ve seen so far is unreal. That goes for weapon design/makeup too.
