Ive about had it with this toy company though im sick if the fucking fact that they make those stupid sonic figures and bitch ass advanture time toys and wont focus on MK which is probably why they also look so damn bad.Yea thats right this is coming from the guy thats been looking forward to them this whole time.Well they dropped the damn ball on this line.Hasbro,Neca,Mattel(four hosemen),or even mcfarlane would kick Jac off warez's ass anyday T_T.

Wait......WHAT????

Where did you ever hear about Jax?

And whatever happened to their Sonya? I hope she is released as long as she doesn't resemble an animal like Johnny and Raiden did in their figures....or the opposite sex like Sub-Zero, who reminds me of Frost with those eyes.

For all i care, this company can back into a dick. They obviously dont care enough about the MK brand to pay ANY attention to their license, or to even KIND OF stick with their release schedule.

I can't wait to see their Jax and their Sonya!

I'm not really excited about Reptile because:

1) I own his glorious MKSM figure.
2) I'm not really a fan of his MK9 look.
3) He doesn't really provide any fun/interesting variation considering the big number of "ninjas" they are releasing already.

Anyway, Jax would be an awesome new addition. Hope he looks decent.

Great interview..

I will support any classic figures they do.. I also think the tripple cyborg set is a really cool concept, would definitely get that

Amongst my favourite of Jazwares from Deception are the shaolin monks exclusive Sub-Zero & Scorpion 2-pack (which are also the same as series 2 (or 3?) I beleive - but I just liked the themed packaging).. but all the figures after series 1/2 were pretty good.. loved noob, kano, kung lao, lui kang.. I like the new (MK9) Raiden better than the Series 1 one too..

Joe is a very cool guy.. I remember when I a piece of mine came broken, or perhaps it was missing (can't remember that exact detail), but he sent me the replacement and then some and even covered delivery (and even took on board feedback).. real nice and genuine company.. *if* they ever have been absent, you have to understand they're dealing with the masses here.. but I can definitely vouch for them and their service

Well, even though I understand they are very very busy, I still think their communication with the fans should be much better.

Don't these companies usually have someone in charge (a representative) who deals with the fans, costumers, and communities through twitter and facebook? They are not really good at this...or, apparently, at making decent looking MK figures.

I will never forgive this first MK9 wave. So horrible and weak. Hopefully wave 2 will be better (like it did for MKD with MKSM).

I too hope they improve with the next series.. I haven't bought any of their new series 1 figures.. their MKD figures were alot better.. I do like their new Raiden compared to their old one, though I haven't seen it in person.. but, I hope they can improve the way they did last time.. but the mk9 series figures, especially their facial expression, have been the weakest so far

It dissapoints me that if they do improve were still stuck with these shitty Scorpion Sub Zero and Raiden :( and as for them contacting fans I on facebook (ryan folsom) have asked about the 4 inch line while i get no response iwant to go to the factory and shove my foot in their ass and if the MK3 Smoke comes out blue instead of purple i will go up and put my foot in their ass.And my good friend Icedragon Kustoms and I cant find and refuse to pay nearly 40 bucks for Johnny Cage.Shadaloo you lucky.sad

Honestly, you're not missing out on much. Cage's head sculpt is easily the single worst feature of all four action figures. I was told by the guys at my toy shop he got an extremely limited release; maybe they're tinkering with his head and will put him back out later. Here's hoping.

I keep meaning to take pics; will get on that soon.

I can't believe that after 20 years, no respectable company has picked up the MK license. I'm done with Jazwares. The only company that should make MK9 figures should be; NECA, Mezco, Sideshow, Hot Toys. or DC Direct.

A Mortal Kombat figure line by NECA would be a dream come true for me.

Have Jazwares even released anymore news about this line since the first four figures were released? When are the 4" classic ninjas supposed to be coming out?

Yes it would be.And no not a damn thing they care about Sonic only right now because of its 20th anniversary.MK has its 20th next year and they probably still wont give a shit about MK fans.Hell if they really cared the sculpts wouldnt look like 3 year old work. The reason why these suck is because there is no Joe Amaro. It sucks anyway that Netherrealm or WB or whatever keeps going back to Jack off wares anyway.Especially since i now see that Jazwares can no longer make gory Mortal Kombat stuff. And can only make childish sonic and adventure time stuff. I would definantley take Hasbro or NECA anyday.

If this is true, it's probably a good thing. Maybe there giving the license to a respectable figure company. If, not....no MK9 figures for us :(
I had a hell of a time finding finding them too, I thought they sold well.

They are; there've been none in stock at my toy shop since the release. I think Jazwares is having some sort of shake-up, personally; they announced Street Fighter figures ages ago and we never saw any preview images.

There were preview images of the 4" figures; they looked awful too.

I'm both happy and sad by the possibility that the line is cancelled. Happy because it means there's room for a better company to obtain the license, and sad because the 4" ninjas didn't look too bad. Hopefully NRS or WB (not sure which company handles merchandise rights) will give the license to someone else rather than throw in the towel and not let anyone else make MK figures.
