Another Story Mode NPC. Not sure if you fight them or not but it lines up with the KP1 description from the leaks, Shang Tsung aside.

Well that's unexpected.

I'm starting to think all the DLC & Secret Character Rumors were just NPC leaks that got blown out of proportion.

I remember someone saying, "Shinnok & Mileena have a lot of assets on disc" in one of the leaks... well yeah, Shinnok is a confirmed NPC presence (not to mention the plot revolves around his family) & Mileena's assets now make up about 1/3 of Kitana's assets. I'm sure there are about 60 sai customizations in the game... but so far nothing suggests they're Mileena's, lol.

It's possible some tidbits leaked and people just misinterpreted them.

ANYWAY... we'll see.

I'm an adult. Let me see it anyway

I'm beginnig to wonder if this picture is fake. Because looking at it closely, Mercy stands crooked, or maybe it was the animation, but considering the other text animation, highly unlikely. Font also is different.
And I just find it odd they would ditch the requirement of only performing a Mercy in the final round and you would need to perform it that close. In MK3, you had to perform Mercy from far away.

I'm starting to suspect it might be fake too. It seemed legit at first glance when I saw it. In any case, my apologies if it is indeed a fake.

Well I tried to be subtle with my link, to avoid story spoilers, but the cat's out of the bagel now... :P

I doubt they're playable. They appear to be the same model from the neck down. Granted, they often look similar, but to me that says: "We didn't work as hard on these two" ... especially in a game where characters have more unique looks & customization than ever before.

Yeah I know. Which is why I can't really blame anyone for dropping any, but like I said, I'm trying to be subtle with the bigger ones.

As many have said, we all have various degrees of Spoiler tolerance, lol. I'm fighting with myself not to dive too hard into story modes spoilers right now. I also had to keep myself from watch Kitana's arcade ending when it got posted earlier.

I'm kinda sad that I know who 3 NPC's are now TBH. I can't flipping help myself, but they probably would have been a cool surprise. Consarnit.

(That said, I know I should leave this thread... but... I'm weak, lol)

Got too excited :).
But I'm also avoiding certain things from the story. I didn't watch the ending and such. Just looking for characters, skins, fatality's and such, but avoiding things. Was just so surprised with the cyborgs.

Because everything execpt story is not really a spoiler. And if you have an "agreement" not to post spoilers in a thread, you'd expect from your fellow kombatants to respect that.

I guess that's a long shot because this is not official forum for a video game so I guess you are right but anywhere else, people respect it or it gets deleted by mods.

God... the guy streaming didn't even realize Noob was a character and thought people were just... calling him a Noob or something. It pains me some of the people who get the game early... while I must sadly wait for release day... lol...
