Eh, I was right about Kitana.... but, dammit, Jade is NOT lime! I still hope to see Subby and Sonya's MK3 outfits. Someday.

Mileena WILL have an MK2 costume before all is said and done. No question about it. Heck, we've already seen code for it in the game files...

Same goes for MK2 Sub-Zero, Scorpion and Reptile.

Heck, we've already seen a glimpse of Reptile in his MK2 costume. Take a gander at the picture for the achievement/trophy "Pit Master" next time you get a chance.

What about people who *did* buy Skarlet? Wouldn't they be, more or less, shoe-ins to pick up this pack, since Skarlet currently only has one outfit choice?
I have no idea what percentage of MK Players bought Skarlet,
but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a majority of people who still actually play the game... the people who would need the pack in the first place.

I'm by no means *certain* pack 4 will be Mileena and Skarlet, but that's my guess. I just HOPE TO GOD if they announce "Bougainvillea and Rose" next, there isn't an unnecessary debate over WHAT FREAKING COLORS THEY MEAN!!! (not complaining @ you... you knew all along they meant blue and green ).

Also, a bit of a random sidepoint-
how come they don't include incentive to download the actual MK Patch?
I still haven't downloaded it yet... don't they want me to?

lol..my thoughts exatly, but that's okay as long as those retros for Sonya and Subbie show up eventually, I'll be dandy, if not, I'll de very disappointed.


On the positive side, at least these are free, but now it's pretty certain we'll be seeing retros for the rest of the MK2 male ninjas and most likely costumes for the UMK3 male ninjas, so we've got more coming our way it seems..

My reaction to the confirmation

No surprise on Compatibility Pack 3, as even before the blueberry & lime hint I was saying it was going to be two of the female ninja's MK2 costumes.

For Compatibility Pack #4, Gillbob is right again, it's not going to be a DLC character in a compatibility pack. My guess would be UMK3 Scorpion and Sub-Zero so that they don't have two Scorpions and two Sub-Zeros in Klassic Skins Pack #2. Also, if the mystery character is a guest character like I'm really beginning to expect, then they're going to want their headliner characters (Scorpion/Sub-Zero) in the compatibility pack to ensure that guest character gets plenty of online play.

Going off that, my guess for Klassic Skins Pack #2 is:
MK2 Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Reptile
MK2 Mileena, Skarlet
UMK3 Reptile, Noob, Smoke, Ermac, Rain

Klassic Skin Pack #1 had 7 costumes and 3 fatalities, so 10 items total. This would be ten costumes (though two of them are for DLC characters) so it's still ten items for $5. Of course, now there are two Reptile costumes in the pack, so it may not be 100% accurate. There's also the possibility of MK3 Cyber Smoke and CSZ being costumes so they could be mixed in there somewhere.

Who the hell wants more of the same stuff for the same god damn characters?

I'm not saying we are not going to get them, I'm just saying we are not going to get them for free and that it was pretty obvious that these classics were going to be Kitana and Jade.

Can't wait to see queve's angry wall of text against NRS when he/she sees the confirmation of who Blueberry and Lime are. I wouldn't worry though, I'm sure he'll eventually get his classic Sonya reward.

I, as a Kitana fan, can't be any more happy that she's getting yet another costume.

I'll only be getting Rain. Fuck those shitty MK2 costumes.

MK2 has been the ONLY and SOLE game where Kitana actually looked decent. Never gonna see that SHITTY ASS primary and her terrible MJ alternate again thank god.

The more I think about it, the more I'm glad Kitana got another costume. I'm tired of playing as her in her UMK3 look so it will be refreshing. Her primary and alternate are far too fucking hideous to look at by choice. I hope the MK2 costume looks good. Since I rarely saw Jade in MK2 anyway I don't really care that much about her MK2 look though it will still be nice to have. I hope Mileena gets one too eventually. It'd suck if she didn't on account of her Flesh Pit costume. That costume really blows and shouldn't disqualify her from getting an MK2 look.

Well i like the MK2 girl outfits so you can moan and whine all you want.But for the record i hate the ninjas only getting outfits not outfits that are for one character only and not just a different colour.

Very happy that Kitana and Jade are getting more costumes. I'd have rather had one for Sonya instead of Jade, but it's still cool.

I'm also hope Mileena gets her mk2 as well. That will give her five costumes which is fine with me.

With four costumes for Kitana, four for Jade, and probably five for Mileena no fan of those characters have any reason to be unhappy now. At least one of them should make you happy.

I never thought I'd see the day that Kitana, Mileena, and Jade all get unique costumes, and their mk2 and umk3 looks in the same game.

1. Kitana mk2

2. Mileena mkd alt costume

3. Jade alternating between her primary and her umk3 look.
