Doesn't affect gameplay. Purely cosmetic. Sub's ground freeze only works if the opponent is currently on the spot it's being used at. Otherwise, they can walk right over the sheet of ice it makes.

It's a "special character" slot. On the select screen leak from like a week back, it was Cyber Sub-Zero in those slots. Presumably that's where you'd select Kratos/CSZ/bosses/DLC from.

Just pretend the bottom two corners of the select screen are little Dragon icons like MK3 and that they house all the bonus and DLC characters.

Edit: As a side note, I just noticed Shang Tsung's throw actually refills part of his health bar. That's pretty cool. I wonder if Soul Steal can heal him as well or if it is purely for morphing now?

If this is real, I'm officially pissed. Shang's throw gives him health back. That is such bullshit. Healing in a fighting game is fucking retarded and to make things worse the opponent loses health as he saps it. It was bad enough as a special move, but now its as easy as a throw.
