Freddy vs. Freddy matches at Comic Con.

So this took me completely by surprise. I seriously thought we'd see the likes of Freddy in the fall.

I'm still enjoying this Mortal Kombat, and what keeps bringing me back is the gameplay. I purchased the season pass, knowing that the 4th character would be a mystery at no additional cost. I was hoping to see a new character, not necessarily a guest, but what can you do? For me, Freddy will be another character I'll need to learn how to play and fight against.

For the Xbox users who choose to have a pure Mortal Kombat experience, you are entitled to do so. However, to go as far as lose respect for those who want to support this character and NRS is too much. Let's cut the melodrama shall we?

Same goes for the opposite side. What's with all of the spiteful, 4chan comments? Is it impossible to make one's point without resorting to "lolumad" remarks? Let's grow up shall we?

If you want to be vocal about the prospects of future DLC, then discuss your thoughts in the DLC sticky. It's there for a reason, and it's often ignored. I'm planning on making a new DLC chart for post-summer characters, and some participation would be nice. I've sent the old chart to NRS several times since the game's release, and I will continue to do so you all decide to contribute.

Attribute that to the larger community at Gamefaqs. And I'm definitely buying it. Anyone know when Gamestop pre-orders start?

You know the fighting is serious when a guy who made spam threads is actually making more sense than some people here. I have a newfound respect for you.

This is seriously amazing how people are acting. For one, if you bought the season pass and complaining how you want your money back. You spent 15 dollars on it, and would have spent $5 on the three DLCs so far, being $15. People are just mad because they don't get what they want. This has been true on this site for as long as I can remember. With MK vs DC people had a right, even I was mad, and didn't come back until MK9 was announced. But this isn't the fucking same. People are just mad because they didn't get Shinnok, Tanya, Cyborg Smoke, or some other random MK character as DLC for FREE. It could have been Ryu from Ninja Gaiden and people would still be bitching. It's Freddy, and I get that most don't fucking care for or have ever cared for him or any horror film. But for the most part, people will care. Freddy is a house hold name, he's a serial killer, and more brutal than any other character. I love Freddy, I still have an action figure of him that I bought when I was 9-10 years old. Loved all the movies, and glad he's in the game. If it was Tanya, I wouldn't care, i'd download her but it doesn't get a reaction. Freddy got a HUGE reaction. But since it's not MK, and you "die hard" MK fans don't like it, you think NRS is spitting on you. For one, they don't owe any of you a god damn thing. You owe them and WB for even buying, and making a new MK game. Without them, your beloved Rain, or Scorpion, and Jade wouldn't be shit. Hell, they weren't really shit in the past games. Now they're actually characters with a personality. Because WB and NRS. So for you all to talk bad, or say shit about them. You should fucking check yourself and see what they did to your favorite game franchise. They added everyone from the old games, the classic stages, the classic music, the classic feel. But because they wanted to do something different like adding a guest, you get mad? Get real. Get fucking real people. Don't cry over spilt milk, you still have 29 or so MK characters to choose from.

THIS! I've been saying the same damn thing about the Season Pass all day, but people don't get it cause butt hurt effects the brain, not just the sphincter.

Im not really feeling the trend of the guest characters fighting games, but it's not that big of a deal. I can see how it might attract more people to the game; and more dlc? I hope.
