They don't have to do anything at all they don't even have to make DLC chars.

You bought the game and thats that.

It's a no brainer that this news would inspire such negativity. By taking something serious and cheapening it by adding this character all for the sake of making money is gonna piss more than a few people off. I'll say this again that I love Freddy and I love horror films but I don't see why these type of crass commercialism cross-overs need to happen? If u wanna see Freddy in a fighting game then why don't they make a separate game featuring Freddy and all his other iconic horror film cronies in their own game. Everyone is gonna have their own opinion on this subject. Some will love it and some will hate it. If you support this move then by all means knock yourself out! But to a longtime hardcore MK fan like myself I can't support this and I know many feel the same way. To me its about having standards and these colors don't run! While were at it why don't we ask NRS to add Screech from saved by the bell, or Redd Fox from Sanford and Son or maybe Alf! I could go on!

That's exactly why I am pissed too. I feel that he will likely be the last DLC character released. I bought the season pass to get MK characters. Good point.

At first I hated the thought of him being in MK but on second thought I believe that he should have been the Guest on release to spare us from that POS Kratos botching our fatalities up. I much prefer Freddy now that I think of it

Don't feel too bad. If you flirt online a lot, chances are you've done it hundreds if not thousands of times already.
I love DLC and if getting Freddy means more MK characters. Then im getting Freddy Krueger.
I mean... my small complaint is.... that this freddy is the new one and not Robert Englund. And again i agree what the F*** is up with him not having any lines.
And two gloves? Yeah you would think it doesn't make since.. but he is a DREAM DEMON. So he can shape and look however he wants. I mean watch the original "Nightmare on Elm Street"
Theres a scene where Krueger has TWO gloves.

I guess another complaint is DLC sales based on Freddy. I think that BS... i think it should be based on how well ALL of them sale.

Anyhow, his claw attacks remind me somewhat of Skarlet (as another user said earlier.) Looks like he'll have a good deal of pop-ups.
