Animalities- No, they were way too bland and corny for the style of the game. Plus they made no sense. Cyrax turns into a shark? Kitana turns into a rabbit? That does not make sense! If Kitana turning into a rabbit doesn't make sense then you must aquit! [/southpark]

Babality- Hell no. Worse than Animalities. Fail to see where everyone gained this ability to turn their opponent into an infant, or what purpose it serves unless you step on the baby afterwards. I mean really, you leave it alive and it's going to grow up, come back and kick your 60 year old ass up and down the street, and rather then make the same mistake they'll just kill you when they're done.

Brutalities- Well they're in the game so yes. I hope they don't end with 10 legs and 7 skulls again.

Friendship- Maybe if they do them right but I was never really a fan of the foot ball kicking, snowman creating, or pogo stick bouncing.

Hara Kiri- These I'm on the fence about. Really they weren't terrible, but there are only so many ways to kill ones self before they start the decline in creativity and end up getting kinda boring and stupid. So they end up in the same place as Friendships, if they're done right then sure. If they're idiot candy, no thanks, If I wanted to watch slap stick ways to kill yourself I'd just watch happy tree friends.

I only want Hara-Kiris to return.

I'll take em all, well except Hara Kiri. Die fighting honorably, don't take the coward way out. If anything they should have a hara kiri animation put in incase some rage quits online. Babalities are so cute, they're too cute for this game in the end.

Brutalities - Yes, but hopefully better than UMK3's lame explosions

Hara Kiri - Yes, these are awesome, I really hope that they include them

Friendships - Yes, but only if they make them incredible hard to do. Maybe something like require a 30+% combo in each round and one flawless round (or something crazy hard like that)

Babalities - No, friendships are enough

Animalities - No, fatalities are enough

I only picked Hara Kiris as a yes because I used to drive people nuts as Liu Kang in MKD. It was so hard to finish me that whenever you managed it, people were very proud of themselves.

No way I could do that with the Xbox controller though.

Do they make Xbox controllers that have workable D-pads?

I don't necessarily want Babalities, but I'd prefer that over Hara Kiris or Animalities. Hara Kiris take away the flair of Fatalities, and make it into some sort of game, both leading in the same player dying, so it's kinda dumb. Animalities are pretty dumb too, I don't want to see every fighter turn into some random animal.

Friendships are a nice fun alternative to the brutal fatalities. Brutalities would be awesome if it were just like a regular fatality, except for X-Ray based, I wasn't a fan of the long combos leading to the opponent exploding thought. Babalities can be a nice funny gag, dumb...but a funny way to embarass your opponent for a laugh, and it's funny to see the different fighters in baby form.

The new Xbox controller with the d-pad that twists is pretty good. Much improved over the disc. I would definitely recommend one for fighting games on the 360 (also works well on classic games and some arcade titles...for example Mega Man 9 or 10).

I want all except Hara-Kiris.

I like Hara-Kiris, but save them for a later game.

the only reason for friendships is because MK has always had a sorta comedy bit to it and this could be really fun

Friendships - hell yes, I think they're cute, quirky, and a fun alternative.
Hara Kiri - totally, I love the race to kill yourself before you get fatalitied!

I say have them all but only select fighters can pull them off.

For instance, only those with powers could perform babalities like Raiden, Shang Tsung or Shao Khan (followed by a sadistic crushing hammer)

Hara Kiri would be for those who believe in the way of the warrior : Liu Kang, Kung Lao and Goro.
Alternately, cowards could perform stage fatalities to themselves (may be tricky with the subway.

Animalities : Perhaps the robots can "transform" into a mechanical beast (spider), Ermac could become a huge ghostly animal (glow in the dark fish?) Liu Kang and Nightwolf of course.
p.s. If Reptiles kills you, shouldn't that count as an animality?

Brutalities would be performed by all who fight with anger or would be limited to revenge scenarios (Sonya - Kano - Jax; Jade - Mileena - Kitana; Subzero - Scorpion)

Friendships : for all those who weren't part of the list above.

If I had to choose one though, Hara Kiri all the way.

But in the end, it doesn't matter which one's make it as long as it's done with creativity and proprer execution.
