Meanings of the color purple.

The actual color of her attire also looks kind of Royal Blue.

I don't want Jade to be dressed similar to Kitana. I don't want her dragged down by Kitana's ugly design.

What are you trying to prove here? Jade looked like that since MKD, Kitana got that look just recently, therefore it is not Jade who is dragged down by Kitana's design, but rather Kitana copying Jade's style.

I begin to think you are merely trolling for the sake of trolling. And I used to be such a fan of your works on this site... I used to have respect for you. However, because you dislike the upcoming MK you seem to have made some arguements against it that seems spawned out of your hatred and in most cases do not make sense. Like this one.

I am not saying that it is not okay for you to dislike the upcoming game or some things in it. You are entitled to your opinion. But it starts to appear as trolling in these forums.

It's actually more like the development team decided to give Jade the outfit they had intended to give Kitana during MKDA.


This is essentially what they've wanted Kitana to look like for almost a decade. I agree that the subtle differences and designs in their outfits set them apart enough though. Also MKSM Kitana is still her second worst outfit.

I'd personally love to see Jade with an amalgram of all her costumes put together. Something like this would be nice:

For her hair, give her the hair style she has in Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks (though black, with no chop sticks in her bun).

Her mask, give her a plain green cloth mask, like the one she has in UMK3.

Her armbands, make them look like the bangles she has on her primary MKD look. (the gold, green and black ones)

For her uniform, draw influence from UMK3 and her MKD primary. My vision of this would be to have a black choker with a golden ring hold up two long strips of green and black trimmed fabric (like her upper half in her MKD render) but to crop it off at the bottom into a thong. Beneath this fabric she could wear a black corset which is bound by string (similar to her bust in UMK3, and Kitana's current bust). With the green overlapping her corset it would look similar to her UMK3 look.

Her gloves could be simple green ones with black trimmings, an homage to her MK2 gloves, while her boots could have armour that's similar in design to her Alternate outfit in MKD.

Thats just my own idea though for her looks as I think it will set her apart from Mileena and Kitana whilst still having various aspects of previous costumes.

I just want Jade's Deception Alt. It was the perfect update of the UMK3 ninja girl design, and I really liked the dual buns/braids hairstyle.

I think Jade and Kitana both look awesome here, their best looks yet I think. The one thing I really really dislike is that Kitana has the criss cross in this costume, I wish they left it out of this costume and put it in her alternate. Jade looks really good, I hope they keep her with a similar look to her MKD look, I liked both of her costumes in that game. I think Kitana and Jade should dress a little bit similarly, they should dress more alike than Mileena and Kitana.

i do think that the trio of female ninja should have some similarities to their costumes [mileena trying to impersonate kitana, jade and kitana are both assassins for Shao Kahn] but still have distinct outfits. something like how MK:SM had a kind of uniform between the three but were still different enough to be unique.

I think Jade should keep her own style and not be similar to Kitana or Mileena at all. Like, her alternate Deception costume was great. Something like that should be good.
