the glowing light from sub's iceball is washing out the characters a bit.

I hope they will stick with Human Smoke this time but why it could be Cyborg Smoke are a) it is a gray cyborg b) the mission is "The Hard Way" and Smoke is reputed for being tough. c) Theory: NRS decided to put Cyborg Smoke to the launch after the DLC question but didn't want to put much effort on him because they wanted to focus in his original form. On the other hard, it could be Zombie Cyrax that would console Cyborg Smoke fans for not having him from the start in the game. I don't see it very likely though.

Yes, I agree. Since MK2, they've always added a bit of humor, although I like how they're adding it in the Challenge Tower rather than the traditional arcade mode. I'm glad they didn't use humor in the fatalities (from what we've heard), but then again, there is still some "brutal" style of humor such as Jax getting a hatchet tossed at his head w/ blood spewing everywhere because he guessed wrong on 'Test Your Site" and the fact some challenges have armless and headless fighters duking it out. Classic MK humor at its best

THIS is what mortal kombat should be. after 10 long years of poor gameplay, cheesy minigames, ugly arenas and dumb characters, this is it. THIS IS IT. It looks like MK is finally back to doing humor right instead of the idiocy they had in MK3-MKA. If they had told me they were putting humorous elements in the game yesterday, I would have cringed and then wrote a 500 word post about how much I hated them. This is great though.

Seeing the characters interact with one another in mildly silly ways other fighting and killing is the proper way to do comic relief, not fart and puke jokes.

Test your might is back which is a huge relief for me. I'm really glad they made it plain and simple like it always has been. I'm still not sure what the difference is between test your might and test your strike though, but that's the least of my concern.

I instantly forgive all the teeny tiny flaws that the nit-pickers have been pointing out, because they have guarenteed us that this game will not bacome what MKDC was (a skeleton of a game with no special features) This game is big and strong with enough fun extra stuff to keep me coming back every day.
