I love that the Tormentor from Kahn's Arena is running loose and it looks like there's army guys in the background shooting and launching missiles at it and shit. (Still wondering how there are non-chosen-ones running around in the city with their souls intact, though. I guess the story will address it. Maybe it just takes Kahn a much, much longer time to steal all the souls than it did in MK3)

No thoughts on if the Challenge Tower will be different upon different times you play? Or how many characters you can freely choose between challenges?

I think I'm in love....Jade looks absolutely gorgeous. Seeing her up-close and personal like this is making me just...UGH. EVERY FUCKING THING in this game looks to be amazing. The bottom of the pit. Sindel flying up. Armless mode. The graphics are fucking fantastic as well. I'm hoping the bottom of the pit is a level. Thinking about it, that's probably where we'll first encounter Reptile! So excited. ::jizzes::

I hope I don't fail out of school. -_____- This game is not going to help me maintain good grades at ALL. FML.

The Rooftop Cage and Zombie Goro fight on seems a bit different from the one Liu and Kung-Lao are battling on. Anyone noticed that?

Also, the arena with Sindel/Jade looks new. I like it. So we're getting a day version of the Pit also? Awesome!

I noticed on Ed Boons Twitter that challenge tower is a single experience only. I would love for NRS to reconsider making it used in versus for custom matches. I always wanted to tell a friend that I can beat them with no hands and have proof on the screen lol.

It may be functionally one player, but my plan for this is to get a group of friends together and we all take turns on the missions one of us can't beat until we get through it.

That's how we always did the mission modes in Smash Bros.

I'm having trouble finding exactly what I wanna say, but I'll give it a try.

I have been waiting for this game for a very long time. What I mean by that is an MK game that I firmly believe will be the best of all time. As a man in my 30's, I remember vividly when MK1 came out. When MK2 came out, I thought that it was the most amazing thing I had ever seen. I was a lil disappointed with MK3 through MK:DC. I firmly believed that Ed and the teams he had assembled, along with Midway were completely incapable of trumping MK2, no matter what they did.

Boy was I wrong.

I would like to thank WB Games for saving this franchise, and giving Ed and his team an ample amount of time to put out the VERY BEST product they can. NRS, from what I have seen, you have done an amazing job with this game. I firmly believe that this WILL be the best entry in my favorite fighting game series to date.

You have made an old fan, and most likely, many old fans very happy.

I still tell my friends about the first time I ever laid eyes on MK in the little pool hall next to my high school. Something tells me that I will be telling a similar story about THIS game for years to come!

Me and my cousins did something similar. We all have brawl so we just got 3 different TVs and played each challenge on our game at the same time. We'll prob do that with this too.

I agree. I would love to do a tag team shooting gallery, and a tag team Orange you glad I came. There are so many different mini games and a ton of possiblities just from test your luck that they could actually make a MK mario party game. I'm not saying they should, but jesus they have a ton a mini games and they look like a blast to play with friends.

It appears as though the Rooftop/city is getting more destroyed/merged as the day goes on.

Cage and Goro are fighting on a clean stage, with buildings in the background intact.

With Liu Kang and Kung Lao you can see the buildings are being destroyed and there are more elements of Outworld appearing.

And in Liu Kang's vignette, we can see by night time, there are open portals and a dragon in the background, the city totally turned to shit.

Not a bad concept.

With the new 2player tag-team online feature I'm not sure why they wouldn't do it with challenge mode. Guess we'll have to wait and see, that would boost the replay value through the roof.

Am I missing something? what the hell is test your strike. It looks identical to test your might.
