Story mode is looking a lot like MkvsDC. Not sure what to think about thaa. Cut scenes mixed with fights are cool, but I am kind of hoping for something more.

I love me some Sub-Zero. Nice vid. I still think some of the stances and animations look stiff like they did in mkda, mkd, mka, and mk vs dc, but the rest of it looks great.

Did it look like Sub-Zero had his self freeze move back from MK vs DC @ 00:22?

I'm actually really disliking it. I like the old animation better when his opponent starts slipping around on it, rather than this new animation where it locks his opponents feet to the ground like he's stuck in snow.

It's going with Sub-Zero as an idea more so than a man. Giving a summary of both brothers portraying this idea. Creating the illusion Sub-Zero is immortal.

The Self Freeze is his Parry.

I think the small departure is a step in the right direction.

Good video, some nice combos. Sub is obviously slower than Scorpion and has his own style. However, I don't like his voice at all. He has a superhero voice that does not fit him. And I hate the fact that this is the younger one.

Still hope the elder Zero will be in the game.

the music is TERRIBLE. where is the MK STYLE??? glad jax gun is gone and i like the stairs in the subway stage. baraka is hinted even though they were just henchmen, isnt their leader around somewhere?

alright sub's outfit looks rather dull in game to me. the renders of it look amazing though. his fighting stance does not fit him, seems like its for baraka or reptile. he moves too slow and im okay with him being a "powerful hitter" but it needs to be done like Feng Wei in Tekken 6. he's a powerful foe but he aint moving all slow. thats for grappler's like jax. when he freezes people in the air they need to fall down out the air. he already has so many long combos already.

I wholeheartedly agree! While the story mode was cool in MK vs DCU it doesn't really lend itself to a lot of re-playability.

I will be disappointed if the Story Mode is just Cutscene, Fight, Cutscene, Fight etc...

I never expected anything close to what Deception and Armageddon have but I was hoping of a mixture between MK vs DCU and Deadly Alliance. I don't know why but I thought the Deadly Alliances Konquest was really cool and had a really good atmosphere to it.

I liked how the DA Konquest was a way to introduce the characters and get to know how they played. The way you had to travel the globe with the unique environments you fought in compared to the arcade mode was also just really cool! I really hope they do something similar in MK 2011 to keep the monotony of Cutscene, Fight repeat nonexistent!

hmmmm So i guess we are kinda skipping MK1 as Scorpion didnt find out about Sub Zeros brother till the end and protected him.... i would like to see how Scorpion tries to protect him and Young Sub Zero lets him..... Yet Young sub Zero seems to be evil and not so friendly like he was in MK2 and MK3

Just realized Jax was without the gun as well, nice. The combos looks so sick. Loving his Parry too.

While it doesn't specifically say it's the YOUNGER SubZ, they've made that clear. Which is a shame, I was hoping they older one would stick around a bit longer this time around
