Jax and the subway station look great! Very good update.

The victory pose seems weird to me. I guess they're working on giving the characters more personality. But it felt too much like Street Fighter to me for some reason. A very minor complaint though. The game looks great!

I absolutely hate Lui Kang. The thing is he is such a huge character in the first 3 games (if not the main good character), he's practically guaranteed to be this game. I really hope he is the last character to be reveled simply because he's such a lock to be in this game, that it really isn't going to be such a surprise when he is announced.

I just want to see what he'll look like and how they'll update his look.

I can't wait to see Liu Kang. I'm just hoping they give him his Dragon Fatality and all his previous moves including the cartwheel move he got in MKvsDC.

Jax looks amazing. I was never really interested with Jax until now. The new design fits him perfectly.
I really like the Netherrealm Studios posters in the background of the Subway....nice touch!

The subway looks fantastic. I'm really impressed. Jax looks better than ever too. It's a shame I don't give a shit about him.

But concerning the Subway stage, I prefer to see few weird people (not more than 10 persons) sitting/walking around with bad/teared clothes, strange haircuts, smoking cigarettes, drinking alcohol,...

And the most important is if there'll be some people in the train, that once the stage fatality is achieved you can see/hear their reactions inside the train when they see the character's face being hit several times by the train while passing, like they start moving away from their places and screaming.

I wouldn't mind a set of eyes looking out from one of the shadows then when a train goes past there is no one there. It would be super creepy and make everyone go wild thinking about hidden characters.

Can't have people in the train, Earth's population is dead in MK3. Whole theme of the game is "post-apocalyptic wasteland", making Earth look barren and dead like Outworld.

Corpses in the train or Outworlders would be fun though.

Hmm I wonder if that's gonna be the animation for all the characters when they do the subway fatality. It would look kind of weird example kitana throwing a big ass character like jax accross the whole stage to knock him into the 2nd train. Hopefully after the face smashing into the 1st train women characters do like a throw similar to mileenas default throw in mk3 into the 2nd train.

Yeah, I had the same thought. I was imagining a female throwing her opponent like that. I think females should hold their opponent with their hands then lay on their back then throw him with their both legs (like Sonya throw from MK1).

I actually love Jax this time around. I haven't cared for him that much since MK2. I agree the Victory pose is awesome, gives a bit of nostalgic feeling too because of the MK2 character select screen with the flag draped over his shoulders. I just wish they would have showed his fatality, I am pupped to see it!

But please for his alt I hope that he has his MK2 look, complete WITH buzz cut and sweet 90's spandex.

Yea exactly.. that's what mileena's throw is in mk 3. It would be cool if they did it by sizes. Like the big characters like jax and sheeva would toss them into the 2nd train with ease, mid size characters like liu kang and reptile do like their own special throw as well, and females do the same kind we mentioned.

But he's Special Forces, these guys aren't the usual neat and tidy military types. They usually dress groom to blend in so that they can't be spotted in a crowd from a mile away.

Which brings us back to the issue with the flag. Special Forces don't give out their identities, and usually don't wear any flags so that the enemy can't trace them back to their country - especially when they are somewhere they shouldn't be.

So while Jax may be patriotic, and the flag may suit his personalilty, it doesn't suit his profession. Also, the majority of the people who like the flag idea, are American themselves. Obviously Americans are going to like it, there is nothing wrong with that at all. But what about the rest of the world, especially with recent events

That's the problem with including politics in games - you have to be very careful you don't offend people. Not saying that people are offended, but if not handled correctly, I could turn out that way.

I honestly don't care about all that, I just think it looks retarded, regardless of what flag it is - even a salute (while not so extreme) would still be chessy in my eyes. Maybe a more casual salute would be OK, but not a full on stand-up-straight, legs-together, stiff-as-a-board salute.

you are looking waaaaay too deep in to the victory pose. in fact, everyone is. its a fucking victory pose, not a political statement. your comments about "recent events" and "only americans like it" come across as the real reason why you do not like it. jax has had an american flag as part of his character since mk2. all the rest of this stuff is just made up because you, and others, have a grudge against the usa over "recent events". it is an american company who is making the game... so that might be a problem considering, ya know, "recent events". i would not shit my pants if mk was made by a british company and a british soldier had a british flag involved. in fact, i would expect a british soldier to have pride in his country, as i would any soldier of any other country.

imo, keep the victory pose as is and if it bothers people then do not pick jax. sounds like a pretty easy and simple problem solver for both sides of the debate. oh and the part about being careful not to offend people... it is impossible not to offend people these days. there is nothing anyone can create without offending someone. that is just how current human beings are.

I'm sure they are going to change Jax victory pose because of all this racism whining... :(

I want that victory pose, eventho i'm not a fan of america, it suits Jax so cool, and the victory pose looks so smooth and beatiful made... really cool.

First off learn what racism is and the game is made by Americans so get over it or don't play it.

Learn to read better, i'm protecting Jaxies winning pose, i'm flaming all the people that say Jax American flag winning pose is too American and is wrong for countries like Afghanistan and all that bullcrap.

I'm all FOR that winning pose, I hope it stays the same even after Boon reads all those stupid post of fans that think its wrong to use a flag of a country.
