I am from Afghanistan and I don't give a shit if Jax wraps the US flag around his body or pulls it out of his ass and takes a big steamy dump on it. The criticism by 99,9% of the people is because they think it looks cheesy, despite of the fact that he had it in his background in MK2 or MK3. Its one thing to have the US flag in your background as a member of special forces - That is fine and isn't cheesy. But to wrap the flag around your body is another thing. As I said before, I don't like his winning pose because there are lots of other cool stuff you can do with it, saluting being one (which he had as his winning pose in several games before and fits his character).

I don't give a fuckin fart if someone is using the US flag in the game as this is not politics but a fictional fucking video game about fighting, not related to Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia etc. And yes, just like people are entitled to their opinion saying that the flag pose fits and they should keep it, so am I. Or should I think those people are racist for wanting to keep the flag? Wake the fuck up.

Re-read my post - I said "The majority of people who like it are American" and that I don't mind that, it's to be expected. I also said I don't care that it's a flag, it's not about that.
Also, I'm not the only one to mention 'recent events' so don't single me out there.



He only ever had it as a background for a bio, probably because they couldn't think of anything else for him to have (it's an assumption but it's possible). You should look into how special forces operate if you really think I'm going to make something like that up.

Recent events have no effect on my opinion of America, none what-so-ever. So basically you have just assumed everyone who hates the flag pose is a lair and is willing to make stuff up simply because they hate America - all because of recent event? Like the other guy said, a bio background does not equate to wrapping himself in a flag like it's a baby blanket. It's about how stupid, childish, and retarded it looks in the game.


My earlier post was aimed at debunking some of the reasons people have given for Jax having a flag-patterned baby-blanket, and pointing out some other reasons why he should not have it. I was giving a genuine input to a debate that got blown way out of proportion.
If people can't dicuss things like adults, without insulting others, then they shouldn't bother getting involved in the debate in the first place.

I would encourage people to re-read my earlier post keeping in mind what I have just said, and hopefully we can discuss this maturely. Maybe people should also re-read this post without having an angry tone narrating what I am saying, just in case.

Yeah i don't have cable(so i don't have the news)so i'mnot sure what "recent events"are but i realy think it is a little weird for it to be an american flag.Maybe change it to some kind of "Special Forces" flag.Anyway if not then change it to the salute win pose and that would be ok too. p.s. I'm not from USA and I like Jax winning pose a lot, he acts like a wrestler. It makes u feel u r fighting with real life people. And like it was already mentioned, the US flag was mainly introduced in Jax MK2 bio. So, if some people hate it that much, well don't buy American products. Ground zero's heat got up to 2000 degrees and there were still plane parts.. None at the pentagon.. A plane didn't crash into the pentagon.

Last time I'm going to say this - I was ALL FOR Americans liking it, heck I didn't even care if non-americans like it or not. What I DIDN'T like was how retarded and child-ish it made Jax look, snuggling up in what could be mistaken for the blanket he had as a newborn baby! And that there are much more viable victory poses that would suit his character better and be more interesting on the whole.

I don't think it's cheesy at all, honestly. Jax has been the 'American hero' type of character in the games. It's all about the character they're making Jax out to be. It's in the game, just move on and get over with it.

one has to assume the developers probably never thought such a debate would happen over jax's victory pose. my final comment on it is not everyone agrees on all things and for those who dislike it there are plenty of other fighters to choose from. if his victory pose is the main issue of debate, then that bodes well for other far more important aspects of jax such as his fighting style, combos, etc.

He looks great, but, I am sadly not that impressed considering how his MKvsDC look is superior (by far) from this new look he has.

He truly looked flawless in that game. This new Jax looks great, but, not exciting enough imo.

His gameplay looks and feels unique. That's cool (even if I'm not a fan, at all, of that style).

His victory pose with the flag is veeeery cool. Good job team!

His round wining pose (the biceps kiss) is a nice touch, but, it kind of looks incomplete, no?

I agree about the round winning pose. It just looks like something might be missing, though I can't put a definitive finger on it.

The subways existed before the people's souls were taken, so... yeah. And the trains have a lever that you actually have to pull back to get it to stop, so without doing that they'd probably just go in circles until they hit a dead end/another train or broke down.

Not that I wanna start a 9/11 truth convo in here, a) the "perfectly gut girders" were cut AFTER the building collapsed. All Truther images involving perfectly cut beams are flat out lies. They were cut after it was all doen to aid in clearing up the mess. Way to fall for a lie.

As for Jax, he looks so much better than DC version. Was never a fan of his full body special forces outfit... and his head looked kinda dopey in that one. Whereas now he looks proper tough guy

I just wish in the subway stage fatality, there was more blood/body explodeyness when you throw them into the second train. Not enough gore for someone struck like that
