They're making 3 3/4" classic figures. We may also get 3 3/4" MK 9 figures eventually.

I hate to say this, but Scorpion and Subbie actually look cool. Raiden's face and Cage's model overall look really awkward and off. Like someone smashed a shovel at Raiden's face, and Cage looks like a goon. XD

The only one that looks decent to me is Sub-Zero.(Though it really looks nothing like him at all)

Raiden just looks..strange and that hat...mid kombat state?

Johny doesn't look bad until we get to the monkey ears (it only took me a second then I was just like "wuuuh?"

And Scorpion, relax buddy you'll be out of the packaging in no time, jeez no need to be so tense.

I saw Sub-Zero's and I was going "okay, that's not too bad", but then I saw the others and they just didn't look right to me. Raiden in particular looks like a tiny-headed gorilla in a silly hat with oversized hands and shoulders and a weird, eyebrow-less blank face.

I am eager to see what they'll do with Sonya.

Johnny looks like an elf who got a botched brow lift.
Those look pretty crappy, except for Subs.

Pretty phenomenal that they are packing in extra hands. That's pretty much unheard of with Western figures.

However, they do look pretty mediocre for 6'' figures. I don't expect the 3 3/4'' figures to look any better.

Sub-Zero and Scorpion look alright. I'm def. gonna buy those.
I think Raiden and Cage look akward. I might buy those later anyway cuz it's MK. But for now I'm only sure about Sub and Scorp and the bobble-heads.

It baffles me as to why yet again they make Mortal Kombat action figures
Because they always look cheap! it always makes me laugh because action figures are traditionaly sold to kids (and these do look like kids toys) so correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Mortal Kombat for adults?
I just think they could get a real grown up, highly detaild product if they went down the Vinyle/PVC model root which I'm a heavy collecter of
granted their japanes but the work is generly of a high standard.
Hell Ive always said the Todd McFarlen toys would be the ideal candidate for a Mortal Kombat line, that way their still affordable but still have great realistic finish and being Todd McFarlen you can bring in that twisted edge that his so good at which fits in with the MK world perfectly

I like scorpion and sub zero, raiden looks ok but his proportions are a bit messed up. Johnny Cage looks like the broken bits of about 5 GI Joes super-glued together, utterly hideous.
My favourite for now is still the Shao Kahn bobble head. Kahn has never looked so cute

Yeah Sub is the only decent looking one here...Johnny shouldn't even be produced the way he looks right now...big ears, monkey face, no neck, and cartoonish feet. Scorpion's eyes look weird...Overall, these def. look like they're marketed toward little kids which as people have pointed out, is really weird...

Looks like Jazwares didn't make the improvements many of us had hoped for. I'm with everyone on this, Cage and Raiden look terrible! They should cancel those 2 or start over. WB should've gave the MK license to NECA, Mezco, SOTA, or even McFarlane. Its a shame that such a great videogame constantly gets mediocre figures. Especially when you try and put them next to SOTA's SF line. Hopefully Jazwares can improve on things for the next waves. As of right now, I'm might buy one...most likely Sub-Zero.

Well, it is better than nothing, but, 3 things worth to mention:

1) Sonya was always on the first wave/series.

2) Lets hope that the line sells well so it survives beyond series/wave 1.

and

3) About damn time they brought back and chose at least 1 FEMALE CHARACTER to represent the MK line. About damn time. Long overdue (looking at you annoying MKD and MKSM line filled with boring Scorpions and Sub-Zeros).

First of all: Scorpion and Sub-Zero (specially him) look great. But FUCK I'm sick of seeing them as figures because they always look the same. So boring. We already have 2 different statues version of them. Why not use their spot with some of the other interesting characters?

Yeah, I know they are the freaking main mascots, but, we already have the statues AND tons of similar MKD and MKSM models.
