Kitana's eyes are looking closer to Mileena's, I see, unless I'm imagining that yellowish tint in Kitana's HQ model. It's good to see them looking closer to twins than I had previously thought.

I think you're just seeing things. Kitana's eyes are bright hazel, but they are nowhere near the tainted yellow that Mileena and Baraka have.

Kitana looks very manly in the first picture. Her shoulders, arms, and chest are too broad. Her abs look manly too. Her face looks like a transvestite. I'm not trying to hate but that artist is TERRIBLE. The 2nd picture of Kitana with the two fans however is GORGEOUS. It looks like a fan art! I appreciate the artistry of the 2nd render the most; very beautiful.

And does it annoy anyone that Kitana and Mileena look NOTHING alike? I'm not just talking about their hair lengths, Mileena's eyes, etc.

I'm talking about Mileena and Kitana's EYEBROWS. omg. Kitana has thick, medium eyebrows and Mileena has long skinny eyebrows. Nothing about their facial features are ALIKE. In fact, Mileena looks too demonic with different facial bone structure. They're supposed to be twins! They're changing their appearance toooo much. They look like two completely different women.

If that's horrible, what's mediocre? They have some deficiencies, but for the most part, they look good.

Am I the only one who's starting to think they're retconning Mileena being a clone of Kitana?

I mean, initially their only difference was the fact that Mileena had a Tarkatan face. Now, Mileena has a different eye color. As of the other day (with the release of the Mileena vignette), she has Tarkatan blades. And, as of today, she has an officially different hair color than her "sister."

Personally, I would like to see the two of them having the exact same hair color, eyes, and body – I think the only difference between Mileena and Kitana should be their outfits, the lower half of their faces, and their hair styles (not color). Either that, or the Mortal Kombat team should make a point of rewriting their respective histories to accommodate the fact that Mileena is clearly not a mutated clone of Kitana.

Kitana and Mileena look similar in game. I'm not complaining that we get to see their subtle differences in renders at all. Also Kitana's hair is still black, it's just the lighting in the picture that's making it look lighter. Although I wouldn't be opposed to her hair becoming that shade of brown because it looks nice on her.

I never noticed but I love how Mileena's mask is so much more secure than Kitana's.

Let's not reach. She's not even the most beautiful in MK, let alone fighting games.

I sure hope that some day, Ed and co. learn that their fanbase has no concept of metaphors or subtlety, and stops doing things that will confuse the simple folk.

Guys, the blades are obviously gone now. I imagine that was to represent when she was first formed in the flesh pits.

If she ever had blades at ALL, her forearms would have giant blade-holes and little secondary spikes like Baraka's do. But no, she has thin, human shaped forearms.

There were never blades. It's just an artistic way of showing where her genes came from.

I've read numerous posts from you, and you have to have set some sort of record on Mortal Kombat Online for being the most critical, judgmental, demeaning, and pompous member here. Show some tact. Or at the very least, learn the meaning of humble.

Consider that maybe the MK-team weren't attempting to achieve a metaphor, but have some stupid, pulled-out-of-their-ass, reason for the lack of spikes and holes on Mileena's arms, or a reason for her currently lacking blades. Consider the fact that not everyone who disagrees with your opinions is "simple."

Although, I'll admit it's fair to assume that Mileena's appearance was meant to be a metaphor in her vignette, that does not excuse the fact that you see insults as an acceptable form of regular communication. Believe it or not, there are people who go out of their way to be polite whenever possible, even when online.
