Well if you guys remember in the Mortal Kombat Armageddon intro video, Stryker punches the shit out of Mileena lol she is going to tare him to pieces for that tongue

Except this game takes place before that. So really, whatever she does to him in this game, Stryker still ends up beating the shit out of her in the future. tongue

What annoys me is how they changed Mileena's original voice. The first one was really really sweet (you can hear it at the leaked voices saying tasty, also at first videos from the game, including the "yummmmmm" after the fatality), but now not only the eyes, but the voice too, hint that she isn't normal. Having such a weird mouth but a sweet voice like the first version would contrast very well for the character.

I think they decided to change the voice at the same time than her bio who initially stated her liking to put men on their knees and all that stuff.

About the kombo, I'm still more impressed by Kung Lao's one from the MKAST :P

Nice video though, I want to see Stryker.

Remember in MK Armageddon's konquest when Taven ran into Mileena and at first she spoke in a smooth voice? But then when she said "Care to dance?!" her voice turns all monstrous? I think they're doing something like that again.
As for the video, I liked it. Can't wait to see Stryker. I too see him wandering around, confused, until he comes upon Mileena. That, or maybe he's in the futile process of evacuating everybody and is confused why this "person" isn't with the rest.

When Sonya shoots her energy rings is that the powered up move or does she now shoot two. Because seing the images of Sindel with two different poses while she shoots her projectile makes me think thats how Sindel shoots them as opposed to just one high and one low for 2 different moves??

It's her enhanced special. You can see the "shock wave" at her feet before she fires the rings.

I like how the air appears to be ionized around her forearms whenever she uses that ability.

I don't get why some people don't like the fact she took her mask off.

1. She knows she is about to fight an earthrealm competitor(earthrealm people aren't used to women like mileena). She knows it would scare Stryker!
2. She knows she will kill him so what's the big deal on letting him know her secret.

There's Something about Sonya's Rings That Makes me HATE it.
What's with the Pointed-Electric thing on her had when she shoots it?
They could of just Made her Glow Orange-Pink.

And her Second hand Pose is Wacky. It's like Dancing Ballroom or something.
Sonya has been My fave Since Mk3.


Mileena's Hair Doesnt Move at All! Even the tips Stays on Place. and Yeah, Her Orange eyes are not fitting:

I can see why people wouldn't like her taking off her mask to talk... Though I must ask, since the mask itself looks skin tight on her face, would you be able to hear her from a far distance if she had that mask on?

More detailed thoughts:

-I DO hear guns shots and other sfx in the background in the beginning. Didn't Shao Kahn have Kano train his extermination squads in the use of Earthrealm weapons?
-Mileena's hair not moving in the cutscene does bug me a bit, but it clearly moves in gameplay, so I'll live. Plus, it may just not be 100% complete yet, who knows?
-Again, I'm actually pretty excited for Stryker.
-Gameplay looks awesome as usual. Same with the stages.
-Is it Spring 2011 yet?

meh she sucks now, I hope they do Sheeva justice.

Flaunting the teeth is so gorky and awkward. Forced. Her whole character is soooooo forced and this kinda character is much better with mystiques and things unseen.

If that is Stryker, I'm digging it. As others have said, he sounds a lot like Chris Redfield. An authoritative Stryker trying to do his best amidst the chaos of the Outworld invasion is a Stryker I could get behind.

Along with the pics they release and the videos I kinda wish they would give more storyline leaks. I want to know how they are changing up the Mileena-Kitana storyline. They OBVIOUSLY cant be confused for each other with this new storyline. They dont look anything alike anymore and that was a big part of their story.

I love that Liu Kang doesn't seem to be the focus of the game as the champion. Maybe Kung Lao or another character will be able to become MK Champion. I like that idea. Kill Kang off earlier and leave him that way. no zombie Kang comin back.

They could just give Mileena the ability to change between tarkatan eyes and human eyes, but she uses the tarkatan eyes in battle because they have increased vision or some other mumbo jumbo.

At this point in the story, they don't have to look alike. Mileena posed as Kitana to command the Outword army in MKD. Right now they're just working for Shao Kahn. So they don't have to be similar right now. I think people are just getting mixed up between when they did look alike (MK2) with when Mileena was posing as Kitana (MKD). They only looked the same in MK2 because of the hardware limitations.

As for the vid, every time one of these come out, it makes me want to play as that character more (or at all if I didn't before). Can't wait to improv some combos with all of these characters!

Whoever that new girl is, she looks not bad, not extraodinary, but not bad.

Sonya's rings look the best since MK3, but I still kinda like MK3's better.

(Had to watch without sound, so I guess I'll comment on that later.)
