Would u guys be ok with them reworking the story line so that some characters that did'nt appear early to show up now.Since we are assuming that this takes place between 1-3.I for one would be cool with that.

Several characters were "around" during the time frame of MK1-MK3 however. They basically wrote in several characters to make them present in the storyline even though at the time the games were made they weren't even being thought of. Examples include characters like Kenshi, Quan Chi, Shujinko and Blaze. It wouldn't be very difficult to add more to that list.

Personally, I would like to see Ermac hidden at the tournament, Liu's training with Bo' Rai Cho, and Quan Chi/Shinnok's role in resurrecting/manipulating Scorpion and Noob Saibot and helping with Sindel.

Isn't there an appearance of Blaze on MK2's, "The Pit?"

Kind of like to know why Smoke was in the Living Forest. I think I read something a long time ago that Smoke was "sent by the Lin Kuei to keep an eye on Subzero," but I can't remember if that was from anything official.

Pretty much every character has been around since the beginning, but only some post mk3 have had an effect on the story. Quan chi kenshi ect, this is usually why they've become favorites because the didnt seem like filling characters. So to answer your question characters that have effects on the story and not just a personal vendetta I have no problem being included

I'm for it already. I'm looking forward to catching a random Shujnko cameo. lol....as much time as I spent playing MKD's Koquest mode? C'mon, yea.

Characters that I'd pretty much welcome if they're re-writing are:

Sareena - having that moment with Sub-Zero from Mythologies in the NetherRealm just before he jumps in the portal. Where she says; "Take me with you, I've waited an eternity to escape..."

Quan Chi - in one spot, talking to Sub-Zero. And in another spot somewhere else and some other time, talking to Scorpion. lol

Fujin - flying around, or controlling the weather somewhere.

Kai - practicing with the staff Raiden gave him. Even though that didn't happen til MK4, it's still be something cool to see.

Shujinko - talking to "damashi" somewhere random.

Ermac - patching up a part of his suit because he punctured it, and the souls started escaping....

Taven & Daegon - maybe still in their preservation thingy's. OR, just two really big rocks with their symbols on them in two different locations.

Kenshi - running around newly blind or something like that.

Blaze - Being captured and tamed by the priest(s).

Ashrah - chasing some demon down with the kriss sword.

Havik - Antagonizing a couple OrderRealm soldiers.

Argus & Delia - Just around somewhere in Edenia doin their thing.

---

Or...just having them be playable is fine too. heh...

Yeah but he had no storyline or anything back then. I meant more that he wasn't thought of as the character he came to be back then. They went back and created him after the fact, as a character.
