Considering that basically everything about the game was leaked already, it was only question of time, when the game itself will leak.

I will buy this game for PS3 (first I should buy PS3 itself), so there is no use for me in this. And actually I don't have nothing against pirates - corporations are greedy monsters, whose appetites should decrease. Even without piracy they will demand more and more. And back in the day piracy was as prominent as now, but "somehow" companies were intact. I think they just need to create better games. It is always easier to create bad game and when it falls blame "pirates" for it.

hopefully those who are downloading it are not the same people who planned on buying it. i would hate to see people who were intending to buy it assuaged by a pirate version. sure, i would love to see more new footage of the game but not at the cost of lost sales due to piracy. and some brave people to be downloading torrents. do not know about others areas but here local isp will turn over user info for those who use torrents and get caught.

No, I will not post links. MKO doesn't need that kind of traffic and users in my opinion. Leaks can be frowned upon, but pirating the game is something I will never support.

I hope no on'es worrying about this game being leaked in it's entirety now, because some games like Crisis 2 were leaked a full month before release and still got massive profits from sales.

I dont support pirating games nor do I have a modded 360, but I looked to see if it was true and didn't find anything. Not sure what you guys are seeing. There is no MK torrent out there

They help me decide if the game is worth getting or not. I don't pirate games or anything myself but the people leaking/pirating it will inevitably throw videos up on youtube that I can watch and get a good idea of what I'd be throwing my money down on and if it's worth it.

What's ruining the industry is bloated budgets, shortsighted companies (Activision) and the dumbing down of basically all genres in an attempt to appeal to a casual fanbase that will never actually stick around.

And it's not like it's just THIS game that leaks are happening too. MvC3 was leaked a few weeks before it came out too. Pretty much every game gets leaked prior to release at this point. Pirating doesn't affect sales in any significant way anyway. Games like MvC3, Crysis 2, etc. got leaked before release and have still sold incredibly well. This game will be no different.

Thing is, I bought the game already but I didn't know for the longest time whether or not it was a good move because of the lack of videos showing gameplay or storyline. Now I'll be able to see shit like what the endings are presented like, more cinematics, even what Smoke and Cyber-Sub are like in the game.

Leaks may hurt sales a TINY BIT, but they are still a good thing to on-the-fence consumers. Edit: and let's not forget that there are some things probably not in the build, and there are other things that aren't done yet (dlc, anyone?).

:\ I'm really disappointed in all these leaks. I was looking forward to that rush of trying to find secrets and unlocking things with everyone on the forum when it came out.

Were you honestly expecting this without a self-imposed media ban?
Someone was *always* going to get the game early, be it a retailer, reviewer, or thief.
And the secrets were *destined* to be revealed as soon as someone got their hands on the finished product.
As Bezo has said before- it's 2011. There are no secrets any more.
You have to go out of your way if you still want to be surprised.

Come on, you're still going to be excited to fight as everyone and learn their moves. And see the stages, and actually play the story. There is still a lot of shock factor. The only thing "ruined" part is the characters, which really isn't so bad. I hope NRS will learn next time, to leave any trace out of their demo, if they'll ever do one again.
