quan chi sucks. I used to like him, less than shang but still kind of liked him. but now?!? he isn't the one who came up with the invasion, he isn't the one who stuck by kahn's side every second! he was in hell after reviving sindel, he did nothing other than revive sindel and bi-han.

this game made me hate quan chi, at first I was worried scorpion would be shoved at us in story mode. but quan chi?!? he isn't THAT special! he barely beat shang in a fight during mkd! he isn't the best person in the mk universe!

and the amulet, the freaking amulet... kenshi isn't the only blind guy in mk, aparently raiden, shinnok, bi-han and everyone else in the game is blind!!!

I am most likely a minority in the fact that I could care less about online multiplayer gaming. While I respect the rants about MK's online flaws, I don't claim to understand them. To each his/her own. My "rant" is the love for Tanya. I disliked her from the start, and when the computer began using the same moves over and over, I tried to avoid her at all costs. This is just my experience. I have no objection to DLC, as long as these new fighters are not on the disc when we bought it. Adding such brawlers as Cyborg Smoke, A more advanced Moloch, even a Cyber Scorpion would be fun. Adding additional outfits is also a plus for me. Cyber Sub-Zero's outfit in his ending would be so much fun to play with. Sub Zero's Cryomancer Armor is also a welcome idea, as is new suits for Reptile, and Noob, who would make a chilling "Grim Reaper" . I could go on and on, but as a whole, I love this game, and look forward to Rain with much enthusiasm. Thanks for listening.

nintendo 64 had better online service than this game. Yeah nintendo 64 didn't even had online games. GJ NRS + Ed "ripoff" Noob. FIX the damn inlone servers i bought this game to pwn or get pwn not to get disconected.

Yeah, i would seriously be playing this game so much more if the online actually worked. Its not usually a make or break deal for me in fighting games. The last fighting game i bought with an online feature was Armaggedon on the PS2. Honestly, the online on THAT game ran so much better. My only problem with that online community was the broken Kreate a Kharacters some people made.

Three minor things to complain about here.

ONE: For god's sake fix the fuckin animation for Mileena's first fatality in her MK3 outfit. She chews thin air yet makes the eating sound effect. Fix the fucking thing. I didn't pay for her outfit to see it fuck up on her fatalities thank you very much. Likewise Reptile swallows Kung Lao and Raiden's hat with his old school fatality. Fiiiiiiix iiiiiit!

TWO: Make Mileena's god damned Ground Roll a LOW ATTACK! She rolls on the ground, not towards their head. Why is it considered a High attack? I think if the opponent is standing and blocking it should class as a low assault, similar to her back+3,back+4 combo. For her to attack an opponent's legs yet just bounce up in the air when they're standing and blocking is annoying.

THREE: Make compatability packs for patches/characters mandatory. You wanna go online? You need to download it. No download = No online. You never know, actually seeing how kick ass Skarlet, Kenshi or Rain play online could encourage players who don't have them to download them.

Standard PARRY system for each character, to produce a Kung fu movie style back and forth sequence.

This should give the game an Xtra layer/deeper game-play, without the chance of unbalancing it. would be a nice improvement for the next MK.

The online in MK is horrible. I've once again, after patch 1.03, attempted to play some matches, and it is still awful.

I don't see how anyone is playing this game online and actually feeling like they are having competitive matches.
