I didnt want to read all 4 pages, but I think you guys are digging way too deep into this thing. Its most likely just some random slave girl who is chained up in the backround. Not a character at all, just an accessory of the Khan's arena stage.

That's what I've been saying, but on this site, you get a lot of people oberserving things that, to me, feel unnecessary and useless.

I'm still going to continue asking this.. What makes you guys think that she's going to be a playable character? Until I get an answer, I'm going to keep asking this at a random time of the thread.

Needs more clothes.

And not because 'it's too revealing', but because it sucks. More clothes can create, I dunno, something INTERESTING. Have some armor, little knooks and crannies. All I see is an undetailed bra, tiny sash and boots. Also some kind of face mask...thing.

But yeah, just because of that I refuse to believe she's playable...well in the costume anyway. NRS couldn't possibly design something like that...well it's not really designing, thats the problem in the first place!

She will play some role in the story I assume.

They showed her boot months ago and asked "who could this be?"

They wouldn't do that if she's just a nobody. She's definitely gonna have some role.

I hope she's not playable, but I expect to see her in story mode.

I agree with both of you. I don't think this is a new character it's just some random background character. Although she does appear to be the owner of that mysterious red leg.

I think the red leg was just a joke. If Shao Khan won that contest thing then Ed would simply have shown us this new background character.

1) You don't know who she is. So any criticism against her identity makes you look like an idiot. Because you literally have no idea what you're talking about.

1) We don't know her, so all we can judge her by is her appearance, which is very lackluster. It would've been better to release some interesting info on her first if her design was going to be ... bleh.

3) Her outfit is both of those things. You can probably create her in just about every fighting game's "create a fighter" mode. Her top, bottom, boots, and bands don't go together at all, it's very inconsistent. It looks like a nine year old designed her.

it probably is skarlett..nrs has said you will see characters that weren't in before that are in now..skarlett is not from edenia, she is from a different realm (could be why she doesn't have black hair like edenians)..and she is another one of shao kahns b*tch (makes sense for her to be tied up) oh and they both wear red

She does appear to have a mask on from what I can see. If that's the case and she's part of the female ninja crew (if she is a playable character), what should her weapon be? I would expect her to have one based on the other three.

Attire really sucks, looks like something you could do with MKA's Kreate A Fighter.

I assume this is an alternate costume, or a whole new character.

Heh, I could care less how old characters are in this game, I really don't care. But Kira was already shown as a prisoner in her secondary outfit in a picture long ago... This isn't Kira.

no she doesnt have a very textured costume SHES IN THE BACKGROUND
the difference between her and kitana's (background) costume is the colour and the sash thing

there is still what 5 months till the game is released or something right so they are obviously havent finished her completly

any way that could just be a slave uniform if u were shao khan with a slave-girl whould u let her wear the revealing bikini or the ugly sweat suit????

In her secondary outfit? I never saw that. I remember seeing one in her primary MKD outfit. Anyways her hair and face kinda look the same, I still think its Kira. Either that or Sareena. I doubt its this "Skarlett" everyone keeps talking about. How did that rumor get started anyways?
