That's what I was thinking. That it really wasn't a technical error, more of a human error. A human that didn't remember that when the clock reaches midnight, the day changes. So they were like, "Countdown ends at midnight on Monday!" when really what they meant is "Countdown ends at midnight after Monday," so in other words, Tuesday morning. Which is what my timer counts down to: 1:00AM Tuesday morning, which is 12:00 Tuesday morning U.S. CST.

So wait, I live on the East coast, do I have to wait till 3am? Because this was a really stupid idea for a timer if true. Why didn't they set ti for a time when normal human beings are functioning instead of frackin midnight?

I think it's been established that the whole timer thing was pretty pointless, except to annoy the hand full of people who keep up to date with new info on a game that's not due out until spring of next year.

A timer would imply something was meant to happen at the end. Not having the counter glitch out, add a day and a few hours.

Everyone would've prolly been better off if they hadn't had a timer, and just put the site up when it was ready instead of setting a deadline they were unable to meet.

The people who don't check the website at least once a week, wouldn't have even seen the timer or cared if they had stumbled on it.

The people that do keep up to date just got pissed off that they waited around for information that ended up getting botched.

Hence, next time they should skip the timer and just put the damn site up when it's ready, instead of making themselves look inept.

Something gives me the feeling there might be a fatality reveal tonight... But we'll see.

Well right now mine is saying 5 hours. It'll be 2 a.m. in 5 hours for me so cool. I'm hoping it's the new site with the forum activated and maybe some minor surprises.

Im not expecting anything after last night. I wouldn't be suprised if they postponed the update till thursday just so gametrailers is ready for the new character/arena reveal and they can launch updates at same time.

Obviously it's going to be all day Tuesday.

It'll be funny if all this is is that site with a forum. Midway's forums were always such a bastion of intellect, after all.

I'm really hoping that we at least get a new character reveal out of this, maybe a background as well, capped off at the end of tomorrow by a new MKast. That might be asking a bit much, but I still maintain that if you're going to have a countdown, it should count down to something important.

Like it was stated before. It was an obvious human error in the timer setting so they probably just went with it to make the timer valid and/or make sure everything is perfectly in order. I just hope its worth staying up for...I am tired as hell and can not sleep because of this lol. I wanna know whats going to be shown.
