I thought that Raiden's fatality that was on the SNES version of the original Mortal Kombat was a pretty cool fatality,i would like it if that fatality was a download that you can buy,for the new game.

I would rather see this REAL fatality from Arcade where he blows there head blow off lol wait a minute scratch that, there are too many decapitations in Mortal Kombat already. I would want to see him electrocute them to death like he did in MK4 & Deadly Alliance.

I always thought the head explode from the original arcade version was weak as hell compared to a pile of dust with a skull sitting atop it. In fact, I would go so far as to say that all of Raiden's finishers EVER have sucked except the MK1 SNES one and the MK4/DA one where they blacken to a crisp before they explode.

I have never been particularly impressed with any of Raiden's fatalities to date. None of his electrocutions, and none of his bodily damage fatalities do him much justice as a God character, or as a character that wields the power of electricity.
They did ok with him in MKDA/MKD but, still not as impressive, gruesome, frightening, or as violent as we know electricity to be. I'd like to think we're waiting for technology but, most of the mere ideas for his fatalities have been sub-par.
Of the earlier SNES, Sega Genesis, or Arcade fatalities, I think I just appreciated the SNES version because it was different.
Overall i think they need to get more creative with electricity when it comes to Raiden. I'd love to see a far more impressive display during his fatality sequences in any new MK games.

Here's an a couple of ideas I thought would be good as new fatalities for Raiden:
-He charges his lightning in his hands & fires it out his hands. It hits his opponent & him/her explodes on contact.
-He shoots his lightning continuous out his hands until it electrocutes him/her. Then he torpedos right through them & blowing them apart.
-He grabs him/her then teleports down, he flies back up & his opponent comes out, in pieces.
So those are my ideas what do you all think?

It's easier to draw fatalities and their effects on sprites than it is to render all those details in a 3D game. It'd be different if you were watching a CGI film with high powered rendering software and hardware.
They're limited to what they can do, so you'll have to just enjoy all the generic head/arm/leg explosion techniques they recycle.
