Oh, and to anyone questioning whether he's gay or not, does it even matter? It's not like MK characters go around fucking eachother all the time, instead they fight. And fighting is usually pretty different from fucking. I couldn't care less what his sexual orientation is.

Their poor clothing makes perfect sense to me since Resistance fighters would definitely wish to spend their cash on things a little more important than snazzy workout outfits. After all, their country has been invaded, access to their wealth (even personal) and resources could be difficult as it may have been seized by Shao Kahn's forces etc. What is more, they are not made up of aristocracy only, and investing money in all orphaned fledgelings they come across would be a waste (NO, I am NOT calling Rain a fledgeling!). Shoot, looks like I'm trying to make up feeble excuses for whatever decision the guys at the NRS take;->
