Scream queens are one of the horror genre's trademark. and you know the funny thing? MK has it's own scream queen! A very literal one, as she's both a screamer and a queen. One the likes of Freddy and Jason, Freddy especially, probably wouldn't want to hear scream.

Anyway, while I'm still in favor of Freddy and/or Jason as DLC, I could see a good reason not to include Freddy: His potential for fatalities is enormous, but sadly so is NRS' potential of fucking it up. Still, I want him in, because if done right he could bring something amazing to the game.

A better halloween exclusive i'd buy is outfits for all the characters witch outfit for Sindel.The abonabal snowman for Subzero a striper for Jade cinderlla outfit for Kitana.

I actually like your idea (maybe not these specific examples, but the overall idea has merit). Make your own thread about it and I'm sure you will get a lot of speculation/ agreement/ death threats etc.

I love this idea, that would be something fun and fresh for the season. I'd also couple that with the idea that Shegotclaws had for beach party costumes for the roster, that's the one thing I love about Dead or Alive, they had so many crazy costumes for their cast. It would be cool to see your idea turned into a DLC costume suggestion thread though.

Under permission, and actually, advision, of the Elder Gods on the site, I am bumping this thread with a special rumor I've heard a bit in my Gamestop. A rumor is swirling around about an exclusive DLC on the Vita including a few stages and a character, is all I know. The character is the opposite of what we got earlier with Freddy, it's Jason Vorhees. The stages were Crystal Lake and Elm Street. I think we see where this would go.
As stated earlier, it's just a rumor I heard at my game store, nothing official, as far as I know.

Its far too late for DLC, in my opinion.

It would have been cool to see Jason in MK9 so I could face Freddy vs Jason but that's a pipe dream now.
