I thought that trailer was awesome!
Scorpion looked amazing, altho I wish we saw more characters rendered like him.
I liked the music tbh.

So far its looking good cant wait to see some gameplay footage from PAX, I liked the rendering of the stages but I wish they showed more characters instead of shadows but its still awesome.

And the music part is not a surprise Disturbed is signed to Reprise Records which is owned by WB so its a no brainer why they get paired up, I know I'll get chewed up by some Disturbed fans but Asylum is lackluster compared to their previous 4 records.

I really hope we get boat loads of gameplay footage from PAX I really want to see Cyrax in action.

I think the music is perfect. Great trailer though I agree it should of been released before the game play one. Scorpion at the end was awesome perhaps him killing sub at the end might mean he kills him in the game. And I agree that we should b having some new characters revealed

That kind of "metal" is underground for a reason....its sucks.

I agree with you, but some of the "cookie monster" vocals aren't bad either. I'm not to much of a fan of it though. Bands like Death, Obituary and Six Feet Under are good. And I Children of Bodom. But I'm a classic metal head, 80's all the way.

Back on topic.

And as for Disturbed? Great band and great song for this trailer! I love it, and I love Scorpions new look. Thumbs up MK Team.

People need to calm the fuck down over the damn music playing in the trailer and quit bitching because they say it was a waste of a time because we saw nothing new........

I thought it was amazing and why would you want them to show us so much that there will be no suprise factor when the game actually releases.

Also the music was great, im a huge disturbed fan, but their older stuff was way better but it did fit the atmosphere of the trailer.

Plus metal music makes the world go around.........grin

That was a pretty dumb trailer. Music aside, we got nothing from that. No gameplay or anything new at all. I don't know why everyone is saying Jax is confirmed in this, but I don't really care. This was a bad trailer, unfortunately.

What, did you freeze-frame it and study every corner of the body?

How would Jax even be a "reveal"? Of course he's gonna be in the game, he's one of the major characters of the period. That won't even be news. The only thing about Jax in the game that's a mystery is stuff like what he's gonna look like and which moves he does and doesn't have. And you can't tell that shit from a shadow.

Thick arm with some sort of wire or cable on it.

I think its kano, because he has cut off sleves and it looks like a sleave than a wire, so kano or jax whichever it is its a new char.wow

It reeks of desperation.

Again, someone obvious like Jax being in the game would not be news. There's nothing interesting about his silhouette, the important reveal will be his actual appearance, which is all the things you can't see in this trailer.

Now if you spotted someone who people would actually be surprised to learn is in the game, like if a shadow looked like it was wearing a blindfold and holding a katana like Kenshi, or had giant shoulder spikes like Quan Chi, only then would all the silhouette-studying have been a worthwhile endeavor and not a sign of OCD.

Yeah it's obvious he's in the game, but what's the problem with pointing things out like that? Not like there's anything else noteworthy in this trailer. Closest thing to "news" we've had in a while.

true, and well it is obvious he is in the game, however we can kinda look at it as something new and refreshing!
