Is he saying somehow we'll LIKE seeing Sub-Zero become a god damned robot, erasing all the awesome stuff he's supposed to go on to do in MKDA and Deception? Because I'll tell you right now, I don't care if they wrote War and fucking Peace or Citizen Kane, there is no such thing as a Cyborg Sub-Zero story that won't suck. NO SUCH THING.

Or is he saying all the changes will be undone? Sub-Zero will be turned into a cyborg, but it'll get fixed by Raiden and he'll end the game a human with a scar over his eye like he's supposed to?

And what the FUCK is the deal with this Mileena alt? How can anything she wears possibly ever be "best alternate ever"?

I think Cyber Sub will be pretty cool.

4 Secret fighters? are they gonna be the original secrets like Noob, Jade & Reptile or unannounced characters?

Very intrigued by the hidden -alities.

Excited bout Mileena having a 3rd outfit! So does everyone have 3 outfits?
It does say in the M rating thing that there is partial nudity...

Yeah, my biggest issue with "Cyber Sub-Zero" was what someone mentioned. The fact they'd make this character 90% of the fanbase does not want to see under any circumstance and leave out Rain. Granted he is Rain, but I think even Rain has more fans than Cyber Sub-Zero.

That's EXACTLY what could happen if the character is real.

There are three possibilities for a story for this character:

1) No story, he's a what-if.

2) He's made out of Elder Sub's dead body, so really there are just two versions of Noob.

You tell me, given the stupid history-changing "there will be surprises" storyline this game is going to have, which of those three sounds the most likely to you. A lot ot people think 3 is the one and that's exactly what they're afraid of because that would ruin the Sub-Zero character, who up until this game always had the BEST character development and plotlines in the entire franchise.


That second idea actually doesn't bother me.

Alternate theory:
The list is real, but some of the Achievements are unattainable (ie- FAKE), like "Kano Transformations" in MKII, or Rain in Arcade UMK3.

Maybe it's an alternate costume for Sub-Zero or Noob? I mean, there are 2 Sub-Zeros, and both of them are already in the game. If this is to be anything relevant or cannon, the best they can possibly to is utilize it as an alternate costume unlockable upon completing a possible "transformation" storyline segment during Story Mode.

Or scorpion kills subzero and the lin kuei bring him back robocop style.

Also, the hidden fight named "Brotherhood of Shadow" could mean a fight with either Sareena or Reiko. I am assuming Sareena.

I don't think game developers are actually allowed to put in achievements that deliberately can't be gotten. I imagine Microsoft wants people to actually be able to get all the gamerpoints advertised and score 100% on the achievement lists of games, otherwise, they'd have tons and tons of consumers complaining.

I've owned games where you couldn't get achievements because of a glitch, like several multiplayer ones in Ghostbusters: TVG. But that's different.

The titles for the secret characters point to the originals: Reptile, Jade, Noob, and Smoke. You probably have to beat them to unlock them, using the original methods from the original games to get to them.

"You Found Me.", "Pit Dweller", and "Brotherhood of the Shadow", along with the other one all point to the originals.

Cyber Sub Zero, though? I can see them using Elder Sub's corpse to start off the LK cyborg line, seeing as he was their top assassin, supposedly. Plus, the original LK never really did have any type of sanctity.

I'm pretty pumped about this, if you ask me.

I can't imagine Reptile, one of the first characters shown, being a secret unlockable character now. Makes very little sense for any of those but Smoke but be part of the unlockable achievements since we've already seen them.

God dammit, I was actually excited for this game and now I'm going to spend the next month and a half boiling inside with barely contained rage.

NRS, you have betrayed me and you have dishonored this house and disgraced this family!
(Unless he's made out of Bi-Han's dead body. I could live with that. Just as long as Kuai ends the game looking the same as he did in MK3, really.)

Listen, if this is true, and there's a Cyber Sub Zero, it's not gonna be canon.

Just like there were both versions of Smoke, Jax, Kung Lao, etc. in MKT. One canon and one just for the sake of giving players different versions of characters.

Don't like him? Don't play as him.

Though I can't prove it, everything we know about the automation points to the theory that it has to be done with live specimens. Otherwise, why would the biological aspect even be necessary? If the brain activity wasn't necessary, why not just make straight up robots?

I could live if he's made out of the body of the older brother and Noob is basically just his soul. Like most, I don't want to see Cyber-Zero being some "after the fact" version of the younger Sub-Zero though. Personally I don't think they would do that, given the iconic look of "Sub-Zero" and all. That would mean future games would have no blue ninja guy, because one is dead and the other is a robot.

Even if he's the older brother's body though, it's still pretty crap that was chosen over Rain.

Guys,CALM THE FUCK DOWN!!!

It is impossible for Cyber-Zero to be in the game just because of Noob Saibot's bio vignette,that happens in MK3 AND GRAVEYARD.

Jeez,calm the fuck down,really,NRS are probably laughing their asses off right now,looking at you.They KNOW that Subbie is best developed character,they won't ruin it.
