I'm all for giving Kham a chance. I'd go the Saurian route but maybe make her a little different from Reptile in terms of appearance. Like in nature where the different sexes sometimes look radically different from each other. I'd prefer an original moveset and some throwbacks to the female ninjas of the MK3 era. She also has a kameo in MK9 (well, it's still up for debate) so her inclusion mirrors the tease for Skarlet.

Cham is harder. If he's a blank slate and you can do anything to him, why not just make a new character? I am a completionist though and would love to see all the MK1-3 kombatants return, just don't ask me how Motaro would work.

I agree with most of you about Khameleon being the most interesting of the two and you all were quite correct about it being lame if we would have a THIRD member of their race. I like the idea of Reptile and Khameleon being the final two members.

Chameleon, as Razor said, can work well as a "creation" of Kahn's. I remember being younger and looking up his MKT bio (It was just fan fiction some dude wrote obviously) that described him as being the result of Kahn blending the DNA/Powers of the other ninjas into one. Sure that sounds cheesy now but it would be interesting if they could still make him some kind of creation of Kahn's. Though one may argue we have enough of those-Ermac,Mileena,Skarlet ect.

@bbfreak328, I agree that one of them need to change their names. I think newer fans or "casual" fans would get them both confused with each other. But I think it should be Cham who gets the name change. The name "Khameleon" is a perfect play on the whole "replacing C with K" gimmick and it just goes really well. I have no idea what Chameleon can be changed too. But whatever it is I wouldn't want an entirely new name, I would like at least a bit of his current name still in there somewhere.

The only thing I can think of is "Chamillionaire" like the rapper.

But if only one of the two had to get that chance to grow then I would choose Kham. I'm just hoping NRS realize what a great character she can be in the near future and not let her go to waste.

I enjoyed Khameleons connection to Reptile in Trilogy being the last female member of their race, I found it interisting. Chameleon I thought was fun to play in Armageddon but nothing of note as far as story goes. That said I'd prolly buy both.

i was thinking, remember reptile in deception. i was thinking of making them look more like a raptor of sorts. something more along the lines of lizard man's look in soul caliber, but not exactly the same.

having a combo of armour sort of medievel and wrapings like a ninja...might sound strange but i have the right picture in my mind maybe later ill sketch it a bit to really show. also having one costume the skin is invisible while the other may show a reptilian look

for moves maybe a flame from thier mouth not straight ahead like sketors but more to the ground for a close attack,
far range could be a full acid spit like a stream
for an anti air could be just the flame toward the air at an angle.
dash attack a leap on them , take them to the ground and just maul them with your mouth.


combos could involve using your tail, having your back spikes shoot out( not away form your body just lengthen...closet i can think is dr dooms low punch that just shoots electricity...it would be just with spikes during a combo. and of course the use of your bite.

xray starts with a leap... first hit is a bite that rips your throat, 2nd jumps off smacks you with their tail to the face which spins you around, 3rd and final hit he reaches around your face and tears your face with his claws from the middle of your face to your ears

fatality 1 starts with a bite to the face where the lower jaw goes into the mouth and the upper jaw over the head and biting that part clean off ( if anyone seen that bad horror film abominable how the sasquatch kills the medical attendee) then he reaches into your ribs with his claws and rips your rib cage straight out like a wish bone. then you upper body flaps down and compresses without the rib cage and you fall down.

fatality 2 reaches his tail between your legs and stabs you in the back and as the blood spews out your chest, cham/kham roaring into the shower of blood enthusiastically, then throws your body into the air with his tail and smashes your body with his tail as you fall, splattering you like a grapefruit

prefight intro could be for the freedom of zaterra (considering they would actually known of their history)

the story could be simple one of them wants to free their world the other out for revenge against raiden for allwoing their race to almost be decimated.

they could have 4 costumes 2 for male , 2 for female and just have which the sex choose your story...or go with 2 seperate characters and just give some new moves so theyre different

As ever, my stance is absolute support for Khameleon, and absolute loathing for Chameleon.

You know as a Rain "STAN" lol I would be foolish and ironically wrong to say no to both. Especially with us Rain fans begging and pleading for are Prince to get another chance. So at this point due to Rain getting another chance I think these two should as well. With the right dedication and chance most the MK characters can ACTUALLY be good or great in their own right! They revamped Stryker and now I LOVE him. I use to hate Stryker but I actually play as him mostly now! So yes to these two give them a chance.

Reptile kinda needs khameleon so I would definitely want her back she was my fave in trilogy anyways I loved her so I wouldn't mind her at all give her some different moves or not doesn't matter to me would be more nostalgic if she could still copy from the girls when her name changes to their color :b

Chameleon doesn't have a story so he's pretty much crap until they give him a story and a good one at that

I absolutely love Khameleon and want her back. Chameleon I didn't really care too much about but I did invent my own backstory for him.

I thought it would be cool if Chameleon was supposed to be the Mortal Kombat champion of Zaterra, but he threw the tournament and allowed Shao Khan to merge the realms in exchange for a position of power in Khan's army.

I was thinking that maybe Reptile's endin should be somewhat canon.

Shang Tsung should make Chameleon without Reptile knowing.

Khameleon's story should not change.

As for moves and such I posted something on the last page about that.

I think to complete the MKT era we should definitly make Khameleon and Chameleon DLC for MK9 before Tanya or Fujin IMO.

However the one I prefer is Khameleon. NRS please make her DLC

Only ONE MK4 character. Save the rest.

If there's gonna be only one MK4 character, make it Fujin. He needs to be revamped.

But then why not save that revamp for MK10? I mean he plays a larger role in that game than Tanya does. I think MK10 should be his shinning moment, not as DLC in this game.

Tanya and Reiko I don't mind getting in because they really didn't do much in MK4. If their roles were as vital as Shinnok/Fujin, then I would agree with them being saved for MK10 also.

Lol, Icebaby, Khameleon had her story when she first appeared. She actually had an authentic MKT bio unlike Chameleon.

Her MKA bio however, was nothing but the same thing only re-written with few pretty details thrown in.

If Khameleon got ACTUAL moves and maybe an update on her MKA outfit (personally, I actually liked it, especially the hair), then she could be even more awesome-er.

Just give Chameleon a story, original moves, a new outfit, and maybe I would like him.
