She is now part of the game and that's that. What this thread is about is changes to her character, not wether or not she should exist. So please, if you have nothing useful to contribute to this thread, please just stay out of it.

I didnt say they are the only girls that should be in the game. IMO those three are sufficient for the outworld female assassin quota. I think Skarlet was a cool DLC idea, since this game was a fun throw back to the original three, why not make some of the old easter eggs and rumors real in one game. But for future games, I dont see any need for Skarlet.

Kitana and Jade are dead, so they aren't really "needed" for the next game either. There are already many next-gen MK characters to be put into the game as playable, letting the dead heroes and villains a rest. But that doesn't mean we as fans don't want them to return in the next game.
It's the same with Skarlet. She might "just" be a DLC character, but there are still some of us who wants her to be a part of the main roster in future games.
You don't like her and you don't want her. Fair enough, you have said your piece. But this is not the thread to discuss that, as I have already stated:

See, I already said that. I also said:

I hope you will respect my wishes as I am the creator of this thread.

That's more Onaga's thing, with the samurai armour. Shao Kahn has always had "ninjas".
And Jade is already pulling off the hair-over-the-eye-style quite well. ^^

You know what she needs? To go all Jessica Rabbit and cover one eye constantly with her hair. That'd be so vampy and hot! And Samurai armour, I've always believed since she's Kahn's most ruthless enforcer that her attire should reflect his trust in her, with some Samurai motif in there.

Onaga's army are more Samurai inspired than Kahn's, admittedly, but I just thought it would make her all the more distinctive if she's got elements of a Samurai attire in her ninja costume. You can see they've touched on it with her shoulder pads and wrist guards but she needs a bit more, maybe even a Samurai-esque helm or some thigh guards. I'll think of something and illustrate it for here to show you what I mean ;)

Wouldn't that be copying off Li Mei? She and Hotaru already have the samurai theme going on. I think it would be very unnecessary to start copying the samurai theme to several characters like they already have with the ninja theme.

True, but it's a game with a lot of asian influence, and in comparison to the ninja look, so few character's have outfit's that remotely go near being a Samurai. Li Mei's outfit was a lot more covered up and traditional, where as Hotaru's was more based on a Beetle (but with the Samurai Flags on his back), but I think their outfits were given to them for those games to tie in with the Dragon King, as his army were all dressed similarly too. Perhaps it was only intended for them to look that way due to the time of the events, and that they'd move on past that wardrobe in future? I just think if it's done well, it could really suit Skarlet. A blood-absorbing ninja with elements of Samurai in her ensemble would be pretty kick ass.
The main problem with her outfit in this game was that they focused more on her powers and the outfit's practicality than on her profession: she's an extremely effective huntress who Kahn only releases as a last resort due to her outstanding ability. Her current costume doesn't really suggest that, it's just a bikini with a mask and some boots, because they obviously were thinking along the lines of "well show as much skin as possible because it helps her if it's on display". If the devs could think of a way to switch that train of thinking around, and put the emphasis on her profession more so than her blood theme, her outfits could be a lot more interesting.

I can see what you mean, but personally, I would rather emphasize on the blood theme and as was suggested above, let her be almost all naked and covered in blood. Not to show off her body, but to show that an outfit isn't needed for her to be badass. She's a crazed, deadly huntress, she could do SO MUCH with her powers if only NRS had the imagination and the techs to make it happen.

STATE FED LIES CHARM EMPTY EYES. Anon.

only things i would change are:
1. be available from the start, not though dlc.
2. have both costumes available.
3. have a Nekro spot.
this kinda goes for the other dlc chars as well. of course, KE fixed two of those problems, only then a whole bunch of other stuff got made & released.
She lookslike most scantily clad mk females but i wouldn't appreciate a completely naked image. Mileena's flash - i mean FLESH pits "outfit" is going too far really, and i don't select it unless i'm doing that very evil cunning trick of trying to distract my lascivious opponent.
Backstory is a bit recycled, like a mixture of Ermac and Mileena, but i can swing with it being that her power is relatively unique.
