There seems to be some sort of a dark cloud around his head. Maybe it's just some computer design thingy.

&Good on the person who said the dino-head could be for Reptile's Fatality. However, wouldn't it just be easier to use the already in-game version?

Actually honestly... it look very high poly... almost too high poly for a gameplay model.

That could be a desktop for something completely unrelated. I wouldnt jump to any conclusion yet.

My question is, why are people bummed out if it is Smoke with long hair??

I'm mean not every warrior has to have short hair, plus with it being a white smokey color it would actually go along with his power and abilities.

I'm not going to lie, if that is Smoke, I'm actually pretty interested to see it up close/in the game.

It's such a different look from the rest of the ninjas, that's for sure. Really hope we do get an actual Smoke reveal soon though.

My problem is that all I can see is Raiden from Metal Gear.
The long white hair, the black S&M outfit, with that stupid looking headgear. Granted, it's a really crappy photo, but I really don't like this concept at all. We shall see..

It'd be kinda funny if all the Human Smoke fans who've been wanting the human version back for so long hated this new look with the long hair and the cyborg was still the cooler looking of the two designs.

I've actually seen a few people complain about it, but I'm not sure if they were human Smoke fans. I for one love this design because it's giving most of the masked palette swap warriors more unique features and designs.

Could be Smoke, but it's more likely Hotaru, Fujin, or (and my vote's going towards this) Kabal. No one's noticed that he looks like he's wearing a breathing mask? Whoever it is, it's probably an alternate costume. I think I heard someone saying that Fujin'll be in the game, so having him in would make about as much sense as a white-haired Kabal.

Also, that could be Raiden, but the chest reminds me of Kano, so maybe it's a member of the Black Dragon.

Uniqueness is good in theory, but that hair does not really look fitting. Maybe if he wore it in some sort of ponytail or topknot instead of loose like a Raiden clone.

That's the problem with characters with white hair in this damn series, they always seem to be copying somebody. They really could work harder to separate these characters better. Like how hard would it have been to give Hotaru pupils in his eyes and maybe a beard, then his head wouldn't look like a copy of Fujin the way he does in Deception.

That tiny pic isn't much to go on. I'm gonna reserve judgement till a better pic surfaces.

I'll prolly like it though. There isn't much about this game that I haven't liked.

Yeah I will say that Raiden and Fujin both make it hard for any other character to have white hair because they are the two that people will usually think of first. I personally think his hair should be an actual grey color or almost black, but I would think if you could control smoke people would not be able to see you real hair color half the time because your either blinding and disorienting people are using it to sneak around.

I didn't like Rain with long hair. I'm doubtful I'll feel differently about Smoke with long hair. But we'll see...

Yeah, I'd imagine the classic costume would remove his mask to reveal Reptile's main head model.

I think it looks great. If you look. He only has his arms uncovered, so I don't see why people are calling it s&m gear unless they are looking at the more battle damaged parts. I'm just glad we have a male with long hair besides Shang Tsung and since it's my favorite character. I couldn't be happier with what I see so far.

The costume itself looks to me like it might be similar to the UMK3 ninja designs, with the squares down the vest.

And I think that dragon is totally the one from the Rooftop background.

if that is him, and im not saying it is, than id rather he have an actual ninja hood/mask instead of the bright white hair. ud think hed want to conceal it if he were a stealthy assassin. doesnt seem too helpful or practical to leave it uncovered. that being said, if it were to be him than i do hav to say that im happy to c a throwback to his umk3 attire, but w/out a ninja hood he does look too much like tha fem raiden frm mgs2. guess well just hav to wait nd c!

and btw. i c nothing funny about the human smoke fans getting a effed up human smoke. i enjoy both versions and am a fan of both, but its hs's time to shine. and i belive he will.
