Now I'm just hoping for an alt I like. His gameplay looks great but if I can't grow to like his redesign...chances are I will not be touching him much.

Holy shit, finally a Smoke gameplay !! ahah, great ! Smoke seems pretty good, brutal X-Ray, and an AWESOME fatality !! Finally he has own moves all related to the smoke element .... man, Smoke is great, I hope everybody stop complain about his hair, that, in game, look better than in the pictures.

Smoke looks awesome.
His projectile is like Hotaru's and his has teleport-like move like Akuma.
His X-Ray is brutal and Fatality looked just wonderful.

Those leaks form russian editor were always legit actually.
And he didn't said anything abot bosses being playable or not.

So there's still a chance Kahn and the Shokans are playable then?

RedSumac was the russian source who leaked a whole bunch of info about costumes and Smoke's movelist and whatnot. (I believe he was a magazine editor?)

But yeah, he never said anything about playable or unplayable bosses.

As for Smoke, I'm actually liking the new look now. I didn't at first, but seeing it in action it looks a lot better. And I love the fatality.

first, i hope this video finally ends the smoke hair crying complaints. i knew smoke would be awesome in motion, and he exceeded what i was expecting. the fatality is perfect, the smoke bomb that sets up a high air juggle is great, his throw is nice, xray is brutal, the vapor flowing off his body is great, i love his raiden-esque jibber jabber... but i am not too keen on him having scorpion's teleport punch. but what can ya do. jade and cage have a sliding kick, for example, so i should expect some characters to have similar moves here and there. overall, a massive thumbs up for mr. smoke. seeing him as is i will cringe when i see him in a boring ninja hood suit.

Smoke's looking pretty incredible. Usually I save this sort of talk, since characters are generally introduced via trailers tailored to making them look good, but it's pretty clear to see that he has some pretty high shenanigan potential from this tiny peek.

Anyone else find it a little odd his smoke bomb pops them up rather than making them choke? Not a gripe, just something I thought a bit strange.

He said Quan Chi and Cyber-Sub were the only unlockables. That translates to no playable bosses.
