I hope Rain gets a good story. I am pleased with his costume, Smoke kinda took the hair from Rain, which is pretty lame, it worked better for Rain, his hair looked awesome in MKA.

Storywise- I would like to hear more about the "resistance" The early days of Outworld's takeover of Edenia. So it sounds like Rain is even older than Kitana and Jade if he was of age to participate in the edenian resistance or whatever, maybe he was like early teen age, unimportant I guess. I would like Rain's story to involve Kitana and Jade. Kitana was the newborn Edenian princess and then came under Khan's ward, Rain had to be aware of this. If there was an Edenian resistance, did they know about Kitana being their princess? was there an attempt to like unkidnap her from Khan?

I'm just glad 2/3 of my favourite characters will now be in this game. All I need now is Reiko. That said, Rain completes the roster as I have wanted from day 1 for this game to start all characters in MK Trilogy (counting out C/Khameleon). Screw Quan Chi, screw Kratos, screw Kenshi (though I find him a nice DLC addition) - Rain is the final piece of the puzzle for this game to be complete, in my opinion.

Can't wait to see his gameplay. ^^

Dude your sig is awesome, supports MKO, Rain and..well rain. Also the fatalities in this thread, the ideas and specials, they're genius! I am curious as to what type of character he'll be. How fast, how slow, max combo he can pull off, how strong he is and how his x-ray can be set up with combos. I can't wait two days, I WANT TO FEEL THE RAIN NOW!

I've been here for months with no sig, and I've been supporting Rain since day one, so he makes the most sense, trendy or not.

As for his specials, yeah, I too am hoping for his MKT moves augmented by a couple of MKA (or even brand new) moves. Mystic Vapors is a good move for him to have- no "ninja" has a "pure" teleport except Smoke. Even though I hate the name and think the move sucks, I will also accept Windy Feet-
IF he has all three MKT moves
