News Headline: Ed Boon predicts it will Rain in April

On Feb 11th-Boon tweeted he can't confirm if Rain is in or DLC, in case no one saw it.

Till we get the announcement we should let him know that rain must be included.

We are SO going to be in love with him when they reveal him. lol That's my prediction. Whether he's hidden, DLC, or otherwise.

I haven't come into this thread until now because Rain is nowhere near a favorite character of mine. I've never had anything really bad to say about him aside from him having a lightning move. Which in my mind, crosses a little bit with Raiden's territory (I don't care if rain and lightning "go together" or whatever).

But... just based on what they've been doing to these characters... and now Noob Saibot!? I think we're gonna love Rain in juust a hot second.

The character select screen is changing from the previous build and 26 is no longer the official number, they kinda went more general with a "20 something" statement during the Jax reveal months ago.

i definitly think he should be in the game. basically i want to see the entire roster from mk trilogy back. only character i dont care about is sheeva. but they should have them all in before adding characters from later games. though shujinko younger could make it in and so could quan chi seeing that he was up to no good in mythologies which took place prior to mk1.

I'd love it if they never reveal Rain and wait for the game to come out for us to actually find him.

I just hope they give him the same victory pose that he had in MKT. It's definitely my favorite one out of all of them. It reminds me of a scarecrow or something.
