Thing is, I LIKE that the hammer is a throwback at the whole "Reiko is Kahn" rumour. I think it's awesome that he has that hammer and not that... sword...

I agree though, many of the weapons given to the characters in Armageddon didn't fit them at all... I mean, Noob's Trollhammer? Ridiculous! He should have gotten a scythe. Sareena should have gotten the kamas instead of that demon blade, and Fujin getting that big-ass sword also looked incredibly unfitting.

I prefer Reiko having the hammer though. I guess it's a personal preference then. Some people dig swords - I'm just not one of them.

I saw some fanart with Reiko wielding a scythe - that was rather cool as well. I can't remember who made it, but it's the same who made that Sektor fanart with a fan-made bio going along with it which pops up now and then on this forum. If anyone knows who it is, could you please post it here?

Two things I hated about Reiko was that stupid giganto sword and his hair.

Reiko is my number 1 favorite character followed by Rain. Reiko appeals to me because he has a less smug personality compared to the other villians. Tho he has yet to do anything major or ground breaking he is the greatest General in MK in my opinion. He literally strategizes and thinks out his plans. His intelligence has no stopping point and his tie ins with Shao Kahn make him even more mysterious and awe inspiring. I also love the fact he's so ruthless and brutal and direct. Kahn was impressed by him and that alone for me is supremacy! Would love to see Reiko get that oh so special attention characters like Stryker and Nightwolf got in this upcoming MK! With the same love and attention Reiko could gain a lot of fans and more popularity! I have always been a fan of his MK4 look compared to his Armageddon look tho I don't despise that look at all. I love that little cute cameo he had in Deception about stealing Kahn's helmet! I in the near future even tho it prolly will never happen want Reiko to become General of outworld! I personally think intelligence wise he outshines Kahn,not so much power and overall prowess and strength. So NRS the next time I see my Reiko please make him even more handsome/sexy,mature,intelligent,brutal,unique and a badass general maybe upgraded to Emperor(one can only dream) Also I would love to point out that I loved his MK 4 ending it was so mysterious and dreamy! Reiko has the potential to be one of the reoccurring main characters in the MK universe! Would also love to learn more about his ties with The Brotherhood of the Shadow. <3

After giving some thought on Reiko... they should save him for the next game.. So his background can be fleshed out more.

I mean.. his backgound was never completely revealed in the old time line.. all we had was that he was once a general in Shinnok Army.

What if Reiko was Shao Kahn and Sindel’s son?

I’m sure the thought has come up before, but most likely not like I’m about to put.

During Shao Kahn’s initial overtake of Edenia when he took Sindel as his bride, what if they made a son against Sindel’s will. Perhaps part of the reason she killed herself?

Reiko was since vigorously trained to be an assassin of Shao Kahn, yet he was killed in an Outworld battle and became resurrected by Quan Chi to become a Brotherhood of Shadow explaining the eye tattoo, all the while Shao Kahn didn’t lift a finger to help him out.

This would make Reiko half Demi-God and half Edenian, explaining his unnaturally long life and add a solid connection to Outworld, Edenia and the Netherrealm.

I was also thinking Reiko despises Shao Kahn not only for not saving him, but because he thinks Shao Kahn is a horrible ruler.

As shown in Armageddon’s konquest in Reiko’s warroom, Reiko was shown to be stern but diplomatic. Whereas Shao Kahn is a power hungry conqueror feasting on war itself.

I hope Reiko becomes Emperor of Outworld along with Mileena as Empress.

I would like to see Sareena wielding Kamas. She should wield light powers and replace Ashrah. Well with ecliptic abilities.

Reiko definitely won't become Emperor during the next game, and I'd doubt Mileena would go for Reiko... Baraka is more likely.

But when Shinnok's losing, I guess he'd probably flee to Outworld and try to claim the late Emperor's throne

Sareena, a great character, replace another great character? No way. There's no way that'll happen.
