That's because bashing a character is not my style. ;)
However, there are characters I dislike in Mortal Kombat. Some more than others.

Who do you dislike character wise Jaded?

He's one of my favourite fighters to play as in Armageddon, I love his style with the Shurikensm his pop up kick and his teleport slam. Plus Ying Yeung was my favourite style to play as, so I just fell in love with him in that game despite never playing as him in MK4.

Plus he's hot. Very hot. And he's strong. And Hot. And despite being a bad ass he actually carries himself like a gentleman and actually has a depth of intelligence to him in comparisson to some of other Khan's soldiers. He's also remarkably hot. Did I mention already he's hot? ^.^

Besides Blaze, Reiko is definately the hottest MK guy.

I would like to see them revamp Reiko a little, possibly turning the whole "Reiko = Shao Kahn" controversy on their head; like, he was the illegitimate unborn son of Kahn and Sindel who died with his mother when she sacrificed herself, was raised in the Netherrealm, and now seeks to overthrow his father for his own brand of despotic rule.

Shit, that doesn't sound half bad.

Reiko is a sexy beast...

All kidding aside, i could see him having "Shao Kahn" moves or having that energy aura around him during attacks. He has a lot of potential for the future and improvement. I want to see him implement that giant sword he had in Armageddon in his moves. He definitely needs an updated moveset. Keep him mysterious and i like the fact that he's a smart character. He's interesting....but....

No lie, when i first saw him (around the time Batman Forever was still relevant), he reminded me of Robin.

Reiko never had the sword. They gave it to Fujin instead (which was totally inappropriate), and instead gave him a hammer like Shao Kahn's.

I'm still pissed off about that.

Oh yeah...my bad...well, it'd be nice to give it back to him =).

I loved the fact he got the hammer. When I saw him with that sword, I found it very unfitting. Also, I hate it when developers aren't very creative with weaponry. I mean really, a sword must be the one most boring weapon ever! There are so many cooler and more creative weapons out there they could have given the various characters, but no, over half of them just had to have swords.

Swords and axes are WAY overused. So let me be blunt - a hammer was the perfect choice for Reiko. (pun intended) ;P

On that note, why don't they just give everybody hammers?

Because it doesn't fit every character. It's a heavy and powerful blunt weapon, someone like Mileena or Liu Kang would look absolutely silly using a hammer and totally unfitting.

That's good. Most of the time people don't seem to realize I'm joking. Not necessarily just here, just in general on other forums. xD

Definately one of the most underrated characters in the entire series. Reiko really does have a lot of potential to becoming a serious character and protagonist. He could be that intellegent, yet ruthless and schemer type of a general, pulling strings behind the curtains type of thing. He could ultimately be the right-hand man of Shao Kahn in his quest to conquering realms and whatnot.

I could see him being that type of character that Kahn would trust with pretty much everything, telling him his plans and motives during their private meetings or something.

Agreed, I can see Reiko doing all of that.

I imagine Reiko as the Starscream to Kahn's Megatron.
