It's not BS that they're charging for them, because they had to PAY some modeler to MAKE those 4 models, they had to PAY some animator to rig those 4 models, and they had to PAY some programmer to make sure those rigs made it into the game seamlessly and glitch free.

This stuff isn't as drag and drop as alot of people seem to think it is. I will grant you that changing the color pallette (or skin, as it were) is a relatively easy procedure... but the FIRST model... the BASE model... making/implementing THAT... is not. Ultimately, you're paying for THAT... you're not paying for them to switch the model from the green skin to the pink skin.

And all 4 of these models had to have that shit done. NRS paid their employees for it, so ultimately, no, it's not unreasonable of them to ask us to pony up $5 for it, ya cheap jerks.

Don't think of it as "I already have 1 color? Why should I pay for the other colors?"

Think of it as "I'm choosing to pay for the other colors, and I was lucky to get 2 free in the first place."

It's not bullshit that they should want to make money on something THEY spent time and effort making. It's bullshit that you think you're entitled to get more free gifts, just because they already gave you 8... (WTF? EIGHT free costumes, and people are bitching they might have to pay for the rest?)

Come on, now- you *know* they're going to bundle highly desired costumes with a character they *really* want to promote.

Klassic Skins Pack 2: MK2 Scorpion MK2 Mileena MK2 Reptile and SubZero and maybe klassic fatalities? maybe MK2 Skarlet? That'd be enough to sell like the first one did.

If hopefully we get 4 more DLC characters what Klassic Kostumes what do you use as compatibility pack perks when all of them are done by then?

However, it's a bit misleading to imply changing the color requires as much work as designing (rigging, testing) the outfit to begin with-
changing the color takes just a few minutes
to change the material's base color, test it in varied lighting, then give it the go-ahead.
It's an *easy* way of multiplying their assets, and thus, their money.

Oh, and Ion- I wouldn't be surprised to see the MKII set you describe,
perhaps even including Rain and Ermac
(and it *better* have Mileena and Skarlet!)

Extra, "klassic" fatalities would be very cool.
