as Scorpion would be a big draw for "Klaasic Pack 3" or whatever.

Why is everyone SUPRISED by the fact that we haven't gotten MK2 Mileena yet, but no one said a damn thing when MK2 Noob & Smoke came and went without the release of MK2 Reptile, Sub-Zero and Scorpion?

I realize the MK1 and MK2 costumes for the males are far more similar than the MK2 and MK3 costumes for the females... but they're still different.

But lots of folks are acting like there's no WAY they could EVER snub Mileena in the 4th pack... when they already snubbed 3 damn characters ahead of her, so they obviously CAN.

In any event, all that aside...

As I've said 100 times now in other threads (and I think this one, earlier) any variants of the freebie costumes NOT released as freebies will undoubtedly be released over one or two more paid Klassic Costume packs. How is this not obvious to... everyone? I think I read yesterday that someone from NRS actually confirmed a second Klassic pack was coming? Can anyone confirm that confirmation?

I mean we've seen Mileena's MK2 costume listed in the game files right alongside Kitana and Jade... and we have a PICTURE of MK2 Reptile's costume (Check out the pic for the "Pit Master" Achievement/Trophy :P) It's obvious they exist... and have existed since before the game was even released... why would anyone think they just wouldn't release them?

Reptile and Ermac never got free retros, either (preorder bonuses aside).
Nor Mileena.

NRS doesn't have to be "fair" in their distribution of characters.

They can give us Smoke twice if they feel like it.
Scorpion sells more units and would be smarter in a (non-free) "UMK3 Pack"
but they still might use him as the "freebie"... wait and see.

Well, The compatibility packs put characters that have story together. Reptile doesnt really have someone to go with him in this game, except Jade more or less so It makes sense that he wasnt in one of the packs. If for some reason we got more character packs MK2 Mileena could go with MK2 Shang Tsung and MK1/MK3 Sonya with MK1/MK3 Kano

As you can see in the pic, he is another Alt for regular Sub-Zero. I was kind of expecting him to be an alt for CSZ, not a big deal though. But i was hoping he would have a slighlty tweaked moveset. I would've liked to see the ice shower return. Who knows, he may have tweaked moves similar to the way they did Cyrax and Sektor. And the other free costume could well be Cyber-Smoke with tweaked moves too. I guess we'll find out soon enough.
