I've recently been told on YouTube that Ed and NRS team said that most dead characters will stay dead. Of course, they neglected to give me the evidence/source of that claim. Can anyone confirm this?

Which is why I asked for a source. No reply. The thread started because a bunch of noobs were saying, "(insert dead character here)? Oh, they're dead! They won't be in the game!" Ignoring the fact that this is Mortal freaking Kombat. Since when does anyone have to stay dead?
