Yes, the things you hear from people on youtube are indeed not trustworthy.

Which is why I asked for a source. No reply. The thread started because a bunch of noobs were saying, "(insert dead character here)? Oh, they're dead! They won't be in the game!" Ignoring the fact that this is Mortal freaking Kombat. Since when does anyone have to stay dead?

That's what I've been saying!
I like you. ^^

Late to the party, but damn does Kano look amazing!!!

He has always been one of my favorites, and I didn't expect to see him back. Glad to see most are embracing him. They did a great job with Kano!

Being that NetherRealm Studios is trying to introduce a new generation to the franchise, starting by killing off what? 90% of the Trilogy roster? this may be different this time. This isn't your daddy Mortal Kombat game anymore. Time to embrace the possible change, people.

We know MKX will introduce new characters. But that doesn't automatically mean that the characters who died in MK9 won't return. Your assumptions are pointless.
..Alright I gotta rant:

I really hate how a lot of people on here are crabby with each other. I mean I get it, The roster looks...tiny. I'm sorry but it does.

Somebody else has a character pick that you feel shouldn't take up a slot over your character and you're annoyed they keep pushing it out there because they disagree with you and you vice versa

But We honestly have no clue what the finalized roster will look or be like.
At least for MK9 there was a general idea and only 3 surprises out of the whole thing excluding DLC. Personally I really want that tiny roster to be the amount of fighters they do reveals for and keep the rest hidden until release.

To be honest speaking as a Sheeva fan (And boy does she have the lowest chance of coming back despite surviving) I think a lot of you need to chill out. Sometimes characters miss a game, sometimes they miss several but unless it's one of the characters that clearly didn't work like Hsu Hao or oddly enough Drahmin then there will always be a possibility for the next game. Hell, I can see Boon doing another Trilogy/Armegeddon type game only starting with the semi-reboot.

Death is meaningless in the MK universe and if Say Ashrah doesn't make it in X I'll hope for her to come back in MK11. I think it's good to have Li Mei,Kira and Kobra etc in the backlog of potentials they can bring back and improve.

No one wants to talk about D'Vorah? Kotal? How about the fact that not once Kano has been shown to fight Cassie in video/screenshots? What's that about? Does that mean anything?

Hey Remember Ferra/Torr? It's been a while since we've seen them again..

Like I'm not even mad I'm just kinda bummed and It's not directed towards any particular user just the general attitude is...surlier than I remembered it being.
TL, DR: chill out you guys...when it comes to the roster Destroy All Expectations

No more pointless than still holding onto the tired "no one stays dead in Mortal Kombat" logic. Even though there's signs and evidence holding up against that old logic now.
But unfortunately for you, this is how forums and messages boards work.
Facts, Opinions and Assumptions.
I remember explaining this before and your comment after, you just simply ignore the possibility of MK's future and continued on.

I'm not trying to change anyone's hope, but AT LEAST be aware what NetherRealm Studios is trying to do with their franchise now. That's all.

It doesn't matter if you think the "No one stays dead in MK" is tired and old. It still holds true until NRS confirms otherwise. There's a fact for you. You may not like it, but oh well, such is life.

Here's the first of his Variation details:

In his Cutthroat Variation, Kano has the ability to power up his attacks by pounding on his cybernetic heart. His knife fighting skills are also dramatically enhanced, allowing Kano to execute a number of unique kombos and attacks.
Oh wow I just noticed in his intro with D'Vorah he sticks his cybernetic heart in, but before he just has it in his hand.
