Uncagedgames did not leak the screenshots, they were already circulating the internet and spreading like wildfire when that video went up. He did not even show the screenshots in the video of his that I watched. He did show the Jax concept art and he said that he believed it was real because he saw a screenshot of him in-game.

I guess they could take down a video for showing the concept art as it did turn out to be theirs, but for claiming to have seen a leaked screenshot, that's quite a stretch. But it doesn't surprise me. Youtube is notorious for unnecessary copyright strikes. They don't seem to want to put in the time or effort to see if it actually violates anything, especially when a big company is involved.

If anything, I'm surprised they took down a video showing concept art but not his comic book reviews.

LMAO! I just watched a couple of his videos and calling the comic book "reviews" Is in itself a huge stretch, he fucking reads the entire comic and shows all the pictures.

He still showed real, leaked concept art of a previously unannounced character and that is a BIG no-no nowadays. He honestly should've known better.

If true, this is underwhelming. Jax, Sonya, Cage and Liu... yawn, boring. So many other characters could have taken their spots, or even more new ones. When they first showed Cassie, I was under the assumption she was a mix of both her parents because they would not be playable. What is the point of having Cassie , then have both her parents? Why give Jacqueline robot gauntles (Lex Luthor) if Jax is essentially the same concept, i.e. cyber arms? And Liu Kang... are there really that many people that like him? Kung Lao is infinitely cooler, more fun, and overall better monk.

Here is hoping for some roster redemption in the dlc...

I don't care for that particular YouTuber, but I'm not sure a copyright claim is actually fair in this specific case. But that doesn't matter. WB has enough money to bypass fairness. Just the way it is. I've gotten shit from WB on multiple occasions. They just like to dictate how their products are shown, or even talked about. We should have 26 or 27 characters in this game if 24 is indeed the final number for playable fighters, unless Goro is the sub-boss and someone in the main 24 is a playable main boss but lets be honest, imo, bosses shouldn't be as troll-heavy as Kahn but they also should not be on the same level as everyone else either and if they're playable, they more than likely would be.

And Liu Kang?? Of course he has a huuge fan base, besides he is the Mortal Kombat Champion, even if Jhonny Cage is Rayden New Champion. He is the one tha initialy saved the earth, the one that Beat Shao Khan, and actually the overpowered hero of the series, I know that Thats what make his history so linear, but even then if this is a PASS THE TOURCH GAME he must be doing that, Of course, if the new warrios are not at the same level that the one that Won the original Tournament and Beat Shao Khan... That means that the new MK universe is only a Shadow of the original Characters.

Who the hell knows. Someone over at TYM this morning suggested they'd heard there may be a few extra characters outside of the 24 we now know and JamesMK went after his ass, saying the guy was trying to call him a fraud or somethin'. lol It was quite humorous to read.

We have people saying one thing, people saying there may be a little more we don't know yet, we have leaks popping up now. I don't know what to think anymore. If there was ever a time NRS needed to show off a 3D era character (if they were in) that's not Quan, Kenshi or Shinnok, the time is now.

Didn't the comics say Raiden allied with Kotal and Outworld? I bet we will see him take the throne and lead the Outworlders against Shinnok.

I completely agree. They need to do some sort of damage control if these are real leaks. But if it is just guerrilla marketing (which I personally am leaning towards, because what are the odds all of the parents of the characters who were JUST revealed would leak in one day, one on IGN of all places) maybe they want to fuck with people for a while before they suckerpunch them with someone they don't expect. Or maybe that really is the roster and that's it. I'm with you though, literally anything could be happening. These are serious mindfucks. But without a doubt it feels like an extremely "controlled" leak.

The pics are taken from an early Steam build. It worked only as testing and debugging. So the tester was somehow asked to try story mode and see if it works. There is no evidence that the final boss of story mode will be the final boss of arcade mode.
